Dr. Mouton is excellent, his nurse Tony is excellent, and Id give them 6 stars if I could. Dr. Mouton is clearly a world-class physician, with almost 50 years of experience. I am SO lucky to have him as my doctor. He is direct, brilliant, exceptionally thorough and competent. I hope he has NO intention of retiring. The quality of care received from him is unparalleled in my 30 years of going to various PCPs. I had a nervous test result, and when I checked in for radiology, one of the employees told me theyd be seeing a cardiologist for FIVE years and in poor health, but that after 30 days under Dr. Moutons care, their problem had finally been correctly identified and that it CHANGED THEIR LIFE. I am not surprised - that is Dr. Mouton. He has to be one of the finest internists and PCPs in the country. He is exceptionally thorough, competent, and experienced. His nurse, Tony answers calls quickly, answers questions quickly and thoroughly, and will find the appropriate contact if he cannot answer the question. Tony is himself highly competent and articulate (speaks well, quickly, accurately disseminating the requiste information). In short, this office is AMAZING!!! The negative reviews for this location are 90% related to one or more billing issues, which I have also had. Kelsey billing NEEDS A NEW BUSINESS MODEL. Any patient issue should be ASSIGNED to a bill representative EMPOWERED to solve problems. Instead they are only empowered to collect. The billing error rate is too high. Currently, a patient speaks to a different billing rep each time they call, which is highly inefficient. It took us 4 months to have a charge billed 2 years ago removed. It was a charge for x-rays never taken, and despite having NO record of the doctor ordering it, they INSISTED the x-ray was taken. RIDICULOUS! Anyway, my bill was finally corrected by a nurse in ANOTHER department.

The staff here are not all competent. Upon checking out, one of the staff gave me a packet of papers with information about a serious disease and directed me to another office location. I asked them if this was my doctors way of diagnosing me, and they said they didnt know. I went to the other waiting room, absolutely terrified as I read through this packet, and another staff member who was walking by saw how distraught I was and asked me about it. This staff member looked at the papers, and took me back to the original staff member and basically chewed them out for giving me the wrong papers and apparently "not doing their job." So I didnt even have anything at all! Also, my doctor conducted an unnecessary test that I expressed not wanting to do, and I was charged over $100 for it. I contacted my doctor to try and ask why she did this/see if she could notify the clinic that it should not have been done. She just never responded, and the clinic insisted I pay. The entire, overall experience with this clinic was absolutely awful. The staff was not helpful, and to be quite honest, my doctor wasnt even that nice. It was a terrible experience, I would never go back, and I would advise you never going there at all-save yourself the trouble.

K/S Tanglewood clinic just care for money and they dont have any ethics. I recently took my daughter for preventive check-up, i asked specifically whether this is covered or not and staff told me it is and you dont need to pay anything. I informed that my new insurance coverage will start in next 12 days. After 3 weeks i received bill of 1300 , i took this to their Billing supervisor & also to the administrator but they never bothered to reply me back but rather I got call from their finance reviewer and she agreed that it is mis-communcation and they should have never told me that it is free of charge. I asked them than why i am the only one who is put at fault and offered to pay the part of it but than this advisor told me that you have signed on papers and you need to pay the full amount. This is how they deal with customers, they are just after your money. In past months several doctors left and also BlueShield moved out because K/S charge hefty amount for all the services, can you believe they charge around $450 for a visit and just go ahead and compare their lab test price with LapCorp. It it better to leave them now or dont even go there at all.

Experience may vary based on who you are there to see, but most of my visits have been below average. Ive seen a family med, dermatologist, and ortho specialist at this location..all for different things over the course of the last couple years. Family medicine and derm seem to be very overbooked / overworked. The wait isnt usually long but I never get to see a doctor for more than five minutes. I understand they are busy but it feels like they just dont care. As someone else mentioned, you may have to suggest your own treatment. I needed a shot and I was the one who had to bring it up when the doctor was about to leave the room. Separately, not sure how good of a doctor the ortho guy (Dr. Blair) is, but he has the worst bedside manner of any doctor Ive ever met. He made me feel stupid for even visiting him, and he was late for the appointment {the nurse kept saying he had not arrived, so I dont think he was with another appointment}. Im not one to complain, but he was really one of the rudest people Ive ever had to deal with. If you like nice doctors, go somewhere else.

I came here to get vaccinations for an upcoming overseas trip. When I called before my appointment they said I was covered under my insurance for the vaccinations. When I showed up, they said I was not covered. I called my insurance later that day and they told me I was covered here, and that I should have them call them. I called at 4pm. First I was transferred 4 times, until a machine hung up on my because I did not press the number one fast enough. Then I called back...waited on hold for 15 minutes. The hold music stopped. I waited another 5 minutes. Finally hung up. Called back. Hold again. At 4:45, someone finally picked up. I told them what I needed, and they said everyone already left for the day.

Went for my preventive skin check (100% insurance covered). One mole was questionable so the dermatologist said I can either monitor it over the years or take it off real quick. I said ok you can take it off. Alcohol, scalpel, neosporin, band-aid, 2 minutes wow that was easy! A whopping $524 later I was on my way. An expensive lesson to learn, ask how much things are going to cost before you do anything because the doctors will happily smile and charge you $524 without mentioning it. Even paying that much I got no information on how to care for it and found out the hard way that hydrogen peroxide kills regrowing cells and causes massive scar tissue. Thanks doc!

EXTREMELY distasteful, rude, and downright disrespectful doctors (specifically Devanshi Somaiya). All the foreign female ones try pushing their religious beliefs on you, even after you CLEARLY state you wont be discussing such topics--stay away from this place as if it were the plague, seriously. The experience was so egregious that I had to a formal complaint w/ the Texas Medical Board on Devanshi Somaiyas behavior. Also the pharmacy tech Stephanie Lazo is the most rude, horrible Pharmacy Technician I have ever come across. She needs a huge reality and attitude check. Losing a few pounds couldnt hurt her either.
