I cant say enough about how wonderful my visit with this vet was. The facilities were clean, the staff was nice, and the vet we saw, Dr. Taylor, was wonderful, caring, thoughtful and thorough. We called for an appointment on 7/30, and they got us in for an appointment the next day, 7/31. I let them know that I found them on Angies List and planned on using the coupon they offered on the Angies List site. I told them Id just adopted my cat two weeks ago, I believed it was around 9 months old, and it might have a small eye infection or ear infection, but I wasnt sure. The woman who answered the phone was very polite, but after I told her I was concerned about my cat having a little infection, she put me on hold, then came back on and said that the coupon offered on Angies List was only for a "wellness checkup" and that the coupon wouldnt be applicable and the visit would be at least $48. I said, "Well, your coupon doesnt specify anything like that. It just says exams for first time customers are free." She put me back on hold, came back on and said they waived the fee and would see me at my appointment the next day. I thought that was a little strange, but they did the right thing and honored their coupon. We got the cat there five minutes before the appointment. We sat in the waiting room for about five minutes, and then we were taken back to a treatment room where another very sweet female employee carefully weighed the cat and checked a few things. She also swabbed the cats ears and then she informed us the vet would be in in a few minutes. Just as she promised, the vet walked in with an assistant and his laptop and he greeted my mother and me with a handshake. He was so sweet with the cat, and gentle. He really took his time examining Lila. He was very friendly and informative, my mom and I learned a few things about cats we didnt know before. After about a half hour visit, we were packed and on our way with some drops for the cats ears. The costs were to cover the testing of the cats ear swab for infection and for the ear drops, which I thought was fair. I was VERY impressed and pleased with this vets office, and I will return in the future.

Since I was asked to review the clinic again, I will. Unfortunately I have to amend my previous glorious review. I changed the clinic after the most recent incounter. One of my dogs was seriously injured. There was no follow up after the first surgery. The wound was not healing properly, everybody could see and SMELL it. We had to ask to re-open the wound and clean it. Still, not a single follow up call to see how the patient was doing. While I understand that surgery complications are very common, its lack of care and follow up that really worried me. We were loyal patients with multiple animals for many years. Spent tons of money. Unfortunately, the trust was broken and I cant entrust the lives of my 4-legged family members to them. I am really sorry and disappointed.(12/10/15) Best vet ever! We moved to the area in 2006. Having 2 dogs, 2 ferrets and a cat we were looking for a reliable vet. Tried multiple locations in the area and finally found Prestonwood clinic. At that time they were located at old place, on Hwy 249. Dr. Taylor was our first experience at the clinic and we fell in love :). The knowledge and care he provided was incredible. Staff increased over the years, they built a new facility. The quality and care stays the same - consistently highest levels possible. We are loyal customers and would absolutely recommend Prestonwood clinic to anybody. thank you for everything you do

We have been highly impressed on both occasions with all aspects of Prestonwood Animal Clinic. The staff is extremely professional and very friendly. The vet and her assisting tech actually got down on the floor with our yorkie to make her feel comfortable on our first visit and that truly impressed us. They made the entire process painless for both myself and our yorkie. They were completely understanding about our concerns over costs and they were great about fully disclosing all costs before they took any action. They made recommendations but didnt push anything on us, and the vet was very thorough with answering all of our questions. She was not rushed and spent a good amount of time with us talking about our pets health overall. Their facilities are very welcoming and did not have the typically medicinal smell of a medical facility at all. Our yorkie was excited to go inside and spent the entire time happy and running around, she was not anxious or nervous and it means a lot to find that in vet. I would highly recommend this facility to my family and friends. We have truly found our primary vet.

**Avoid** I am no longer a customer. Waste of my time and money. I took my cat in to get its shots. They refused to give her shots, but still charge me $30 to stare at her, touch her, weight her, and to tell me that shes fat. They lie. Avoid. I was told a malicious lie by the doctor that they could not give her shots because she bites. wtf? This is an inside cat who lives inside. She has no exposure to outside animals. She has no rabies and so what if she bites me and my finance, its a cat. Its my cat. I looked up the laws theres NO law in Texas that says a cat cant get her yearly shots because she bites her owners. Was told is was a law. Lies and took me to the bank for $30. Must have though I was an idiot. They lost my business and I will spread the word around on social media not to go there.Went to another vet to get shots. New vet confirmed no law and that they get scratch and bitten by cats all the time, its just part of the job. Please avoid.

I have gone to 4 different vet clinics over the past 8 years and I FINALLY found one I love. Its so sad that there are so many vets out there that dont care but I am so pleased with this clinic. The prices are just right. You get what you pay for but they arent taking advantage of you either. The people are so nice. Everyone from the vets to the techs to the clarical staff are so welcoming and nice. You can really tell that the people are happy at work and that makes me feel safe taking my pets here. I have never had to wait more than a few minutes and I am in and out in a snap. Its so nice to finally be treated with respect and feel like Im seeing a competent vet. They answer all my questions (but truth be told, I never have to ask because they are so on top of it). I take my three dogs to Dr. Ramsbacher and I love, love, love her, but Im sure they are all great.

I was so glad when I found Prestonwood Animal Clinic after moving to the Champions area in 2011. Dr. Taylor is the best vet I could have ever hoped for to care for my three cats and two dogs, one of which was a senior dog. When my "baby" developed an aggressive cancer in December of last year, he and Dr. Kennedy were so caring and attentive during her surgery and hospital stays. It really touched my heart when a few of the techs from the back recognized her and greeted her by name when I dropped her off for the surgery one morning after she had only been in the back a few times. Dr. Taylor and the staff were very kind to my husband and me on the day I had to let her go after 15 years. In general, the staff are always friendly and attentive, and the clinic is usually clean and very nice. I highly recommend this clinic as well as Dr. Taylor and Dr. Kennedy.
