I was really impressed with the front desk staff and the intake person, who said my new dog (in my possession for 3 days at this point) had a "very high" fever. Dr. Glass was kind to my dog, and clearly very good with animals, however; he didnt address the fever, chalked it off to "dogs not able to regulate their temperatures" and dismissed it as too much time spent playing. As my dog was post-neuter, that was not the case. Still, I was given a false sense of security as my dog became lethargic on Saturday, worse on Sunday, at which time I called his office. Closed. I had to go to the Pet Hospital and spend over $600. My dogs fever was 2 or 3 degrees LOWER at the emergency visit, and this was a great concern to the on-call doctor, due to my dogs sedentary state. Guess what? Left with antibiotics. My thought is that Dr. Glass should have done that - given my dog antibiotics, and hed have saved me over $600.

When we brought home a new puppy, Bia, at just 3 wks old, we took her to Dr. Schwiess. The doc was the only vet to treat our pup for over 7 yrs until she crossed over the Rainbow bridge. Im a firm believer in you get what you pay for. Only the best care and treatment were given. We took our 2nd pet to a cheaper clinic. Regret it. They left sutures in and our dog got an infection. Had to bring her to Dr. Schwiess and Dr. Woodard to treat her. Ill never use any other clinic for my pets unless I move out of state. Great clinic. Great care & treatment. Always accommodating to my needs & schedule. Dr. Schwiess and the staff at VCA Spring Branch are just the best. Olga, Cassandra, and all the team rock!!

I highly recommend this VCA. I absolutely love going here! My cats are treated by the staff with kindness and compassion. When I walk through the door, the front desk people recognize me and ask "How is Tripp doing? Is Missy still as lovable as ever?" Its great to have a vet clinic that is so personable and even make an effort to remember my cats names. Dr. Tran is the vet that I saw on my first visit there and I had such a wonderful experience with her that she is now my regular vet! Not only is she knowledgeable in her field, but she really makes me and my cats feel comfortable. When my cats are at ease, I am at ease. I highly recommend the Springbranch VCA and Dr. Tran

I have two one year old rescue dogs. I chose this vet because they work closely with the shelter I adopted my pups from, but I could not be happier with their services!!! I have been coming here for six months now, and I will never take my dogs anywhere else. All the vets are incredibly knowledgeable, animal friendly, and informative, plus personable. I have never felt talked down to or uncomfortable. I also have to give a shout-out to the techs and ladies who work the front desk. They have amazing customer service! My dogs actually like going to the vet, and so do I! If you are looking for a new/different vet, choose Springbranch VCA!

Been a customer for years. The place has fallen from great to mediocre. It has continued to fall. Much of the drop in service appears to have come after the VCA acquisition. I held out there for one doctor whose sensible judgment and advice I valued. Alas, she is still there but now wears the cold, uncaring mask of the VCA corporation. Goodbye VCA. I will now make a choice between two independent clinics in the same vicinity - both appear very much to care and want me as a customer. I used to value those traits in Spring Branch many years ago. If you choose VCA, good luck to you.

I have been using VCA Spring Branch Animal Hospital for over 20 years where I have brought all of the cats I have lived with. In that time I have seen all of the veterinarians on their staff and I have enjoyed seeing all of them, except Dr. Glass whom I saw twice. The first time I found him to be detached and cold while examining my cat, the second time a little warmer. On the other hand, the rest of the doctors have all been quite warm, caring, and knowledgeable. I also appreciate the senior discount they have extended to me.

Everyone - the office staff, vet techs and doctors at VCA Spring Branch Animal Hospital - is extremely nice, professional and it is clear they love animals. When I first adopted my puppy, she was at deaths door with heart worms, and Dr. Glass saved her life. Later, she got into the compost bin and became very ill. Again, he saved her life. I will miss him, as he is no longer at the hospital, but the other vets are wonderful as well, and it is clear that all four of my pets are in excellent hands at this animal hospital.

This clinic is very good as long as you DO NOT see Dr. Glass. I saw him for the first time several years ago and he was completly rude. Recently my cat was sick, so I made a "first available" appointment which happend to be with him. He was awful again and despite the fact that my cat was obviously sick, he said nothing was wrong with him and sent me on my way. I will never let him near my pets again, he is a horrible vet.The rest of the staff is great, always on time, and very helpful!

Ive been taking my dog here since I got her 3 years ago and the staff have always been very kind and helpful. Theyve recently remodeled and the new building is very nice and clean. My dog isnt the best with the vet, and theyve let us just walk in and sit in the patient room for a while to try to acclimate her to being at the vet. Dr. Woodard and Dr. McConaughey have always come and let me know results of the visit in person and walked me through everything that they did.

I took my kittens here a few weeks ago, and they were both sick (since i adopted them from the SPCA). Dr. Glass was very rude to me, did not answer my questions, and was not very helpful. One of my kittens had to be hospitalized, and since bringing him home he is really not much better. I took him here because the SPCA recommended it, but it was a mistake.

I went there when my pitbull got bit by another dog. I had no money and was scared. They looked at him super fast. They loved on him and gave him treats and made him feel at home. Thank you so much for looking after my baby.

They were able to see my cockatiel the same day I called to make an appointment. Everyone was so kind to me and my bird. I love how gentle they were with her and the time they took with us both.

I would highly recommend Dr. Schweiss. She was our dogs vet for nearly 5 years before we moved. She is very knowledgeable and always had our dogs best interests at heart.
