My puppy was initially taken here by the breeder; however, I needed to get some flea medicine, and I attempted to do this myself without having to bring her in for an office visit. In order to conveniently order flea meds online, accredited sites require a veterinarian to be listed in order to place an order, with whom they verify the prescription. The clerk that answered the phone at Brittmoore informed me that I would have to bring her in to create a file on her, or the breeder could call and order it. I understand this for something more serious; however, prescribing flea meds for a puppy seems pretty routine to me. This vet and the breeder are 1.5 hours from my home and we planned to do our follow-up visit in a few weeks as recommended. I was just hoping they might step up to the plate and deliver some customer service so that I could simply order flea meds at a decent online price without having to take the pup to a vet when nothing was wrong with her. Since she already had a presence here at the office, and the litter was documented here, I was optimistic that they might be of some assistance. The lady that answered the phone was incredibly rude, terse, and told me that since it was OTC, why didnt I call my local vet to avoid the inconvenience of ordering online. I do not have a local vet yet, so finding one just to get flea meds, and visiting during office hours, are the factors that were inconvenient and led me online from the beginning. I have had this location recommended by the breeder and others for the quality of the veterinarians; however, this interaction left a bad taste in my mouth, and I will certainly be looking for a different vet for my pup. Too bad for them, too, because she is adorable. I feel like if the lady that answered the phone was truly passionate about the well-being of my pup she would have been more accommodating in this situation. I am remembering her sigh of irritation as I type this.

The most awful experience of my life when it comes to vet clinics. The Doctor here is RUDE and OBNOXIOUS. Did I mention unprofessional? My Dog had a limp for a long time, he took a fall down the stairs and the limp got worse so I took him here. X-rays were given and I was told that his elbow was dislocated and that he would need sedation and a cast. Totaling $400 dollars. 30 mins later I was called stating that it was not dislocated and no case was needed. I was refunded $50 dollars for the casting but not sedation. From my understanding the sedation was needed to pop elbow back in place. It was never out of place but they STILL sedated my dog and charged me $150.00 for it. It was a mistake on his end and instead of owning up to it he tried to say he had to sedate my dog in order to do better X-rays. Absolutely ridiculous. When calling to discuss my charges he immediately begins to yell at me in a tone that I found very offensive. I had to continue asking who was he talking to that I am not a child being scolded by my mother or father. He later calls and leaves a message stating that I was never charged for sedation or cast which was a complete lie. (please view receipts) and once again he was yelling on the voicemail! This was absolutely the worse experience ever and I will advise to stay away.

I brought my dog here for csection case. The doctors very very helpfull and nice ...so many many thanks for all of u. BUT... there are many stupid staffs (not all) and security people there to kill this business and destroy working hard vets here. The Fat ars cashier and Big Fat ars security woman, they are ars animalistic. Dont mess with her gang. Let them charges as much as they need. Because you cannot stop her stupid ways of work.,the only way to stop stupid and awake her is throwing anything to her to get her attention as you do with animal. And then ugly fat security will cume out to help her gang without any asking. The staffs (2only) are very rude uneducated.annimal s ways. None senses of humor but alot of senses of annimal...Both Fat ars of them destroying this good vets and another staffs. Am sure..am not only one got this stupid services. Anyone els?... Now they blocked my phone.lol. (i want to talk with doc.Smith why my puppy died in 7 days after csection date and ask med..farmacy about medicine she gave...so they just dont care after she got $2,000 from me...docs said i can call if quations. I may need money back some ways.) Looking for another ....Dont go there.... Let me know if you found one. Thanks

Walked in here today to check out the place since I am shopping around for a new vet. Seems old, but who cares it looked clean. The receptionist that greeted me had no smile and was extremely short with me when I asked if they specialized in handling bulldogs. She cut me off and said they do not specialize in bulldogs. Ok, you could have smiled and said that, not come off as having a bad day or act like me checking the place out is bothering your whole day. I had seen the website and saw a doctor with a french bulldog and figured they would know a thing or two about bulldog health. I hesitantly made an appointment and left, but I was just so upset with the unfriendliness of the front desk that it just made up my mind about the whole place. I called and cancelled the appointment. They didnt ask me why, it was just "Ok, thanks for letting us know." as if they couldnt be bothered with new clients. I am HUGE on how you treat people and this place definitely turned me away. Dont bother unless you want snotty service with no smile. At least the vet I use now is FRIENDLY, kind and willing to talk to me. Brittmoore Animal Clinic certainly just cant be bothered.

I have been an established patient for well over 10 years and because of work I can only make it in on Saturdays or late during the week. I went in on 10/11/14 (Saturday) for a possible suspicion of an ear infection for my dog and got hit with an astronomically expensive bill of $108- just to diagnose the infection (look into the ear canal) and the medicine-Batril ($40). I was shocked to find out that they charged me a walk in fee of $20.00 (without telling me anything), despite me being there at 8:30 am and there being only 2 other people in the waiting room. As an established client, I was floored! I asked them to consult it with the Dr. again, and he refused to change it.. He was Dr. Kampsmidt. I was very disappointed in first of all the non-information that was not relayed to me and secondly in the excessive charge. I firmly told them (as if they cared), that my business with them has terminated and I will cease to recommend them to anyone. A $20 walk-in fee is ridiculous! I have called other veterinarian services around the area and they do not charge a walk-in fee, and if so, much more minimal and they consider your time with them as a client.

I took my best friend here for the first time and found out she was pregnant by a xray The Vet who came in to give me the information seemed nice but wasnt too knowledgeable on how to prepare a owner on how to deliver puppies she pretty much just said shes pregnant and might need a c-section. Well when I got to the emergency animal hospital they asked me all kinds of question on how big the puppy head and the pelvis of my dog was I had no idea the vet didnt inform me. The Vet at the emergency animal hospital said thats how they would of determined if she could give birth on her own and it would of prepared me luckily after I paid 140 for the xray I demanded a copy for the amount I payed for it so he was able to give a straight forward answer . Regardless the emergency animal hospital (on N Hwy 6) also took advantage on pricing my dogs life at $2600. Anyone who is looking at c-sections for your dog please do your research dont let them overcharge you and risk your best friends life we ended up finding another emergency center (Gulf Freeway S.) who would do it for $1700.
