I took my puppy for his Centinel, at The Corner Vet in the HEIGHTS- last visit with this place was back on 2/2016. They informed me my puppy needed another "heartworm test" which back in 2/2016 it was negative - and it is now JULY 2016! I was told that they had missed doses, to which I stated my puppy HAD IN FACT been receiving his flea & heartworm meds from an online source. I spent over 30 minutes discussing this with the girl in the front desk - to which I asked to speak with the manager ( but couldnt due to them being offsite), so I asked to speak to the doctor directly. I did speak to the vet, and informed her as well the situation of my dog not "needing" another" heartworm test, (last one done on 2/2016) and it is now July 2016! She informed me that due to "missed" doses ? Again, my dog had been receiving his doses of flea & heartworm meds from an online store, and the vet responded; that sometimes people get pet medicines from the "BLACK MARKET"? ????WHAT???? I thought she was joking!!! She wasnt, and I assured her, my puppy has never received anything, and I have never bought ANYTHING from the "black market"!! The nerve, I believe that if consumers wish to purchase online petmeds for their pets it should NOT be counted against them for trying to "SAVE MONEY"!!! They should be glad I have "chosen" them to treat "MY PET"..... I declined to see their logic in all this, and I took my puppy & will be finding a BETTER VET, BECAUSE I FEEL THAT IT IS ILLOGICAL TO ASSUME YOUR PET HAS MISSING DOSES, JUST BECAUSE THEY WERE NOT "BOUGHT" FROM YOUR YOU! I WILL LET ALL MY FRIENDS AND NEIGHBORS AND CO-WORKERS IN THE MEDICAL CENTER COMMUNITY TO NOT EVER TAKE THEIR PETS TO THIS CORNER VET IN THE HEIGHTS!!!!!

Unprofessional & Unhelpful. I brought my dog in for a leg issue and it was likely completely misdiagnosed (Im still in the process of figuring that out). I was given a RX for him which I purchased that day. I was out of town and my parents were watching my dog in Conroe when the prescription ran out. They refused to send the prescription to a vet in Conroe to get it filled and asked that I fill it via their online ordering system. This is total BS, I should be able to fill it wherever I want. Secondly, I called in to see if they could refer me to Gulf Coast to get their orthopedic department to look at the leg and they also refused to do that. The front desk lady kept putting me on hold to discuss with someone and one time she forgot to hit the hold button. She was mocking me and making fun of me to the doctor while she thought I couldn’t hear her. Super unprofessional and super unhelpful.

Got there at 1:30pm on a busy Saturday to see a lunch sign taped to the window. Didnt think a Heights location veterinarian would really close the entire facility for lunch. Guess theres no overtime or they just really cant work through lunch (you know to help save animals lives in all, since thats kinda the point but, I guess lunch was top priority.) They leisurely unlocked the door at 2pm but didnt bother to remove the at lunch sign. Waited until 2pm, receptionist had no clue what was going on, ran outside after a customer, then the vet or vet tech came from the back to help her since it takes 2 people to man a computer. After they helped the person who had an appointment, there was no one else there and they told me to wait an hour and 20 minutes more to squeeze me in. After all the circus, I decided that I dont trust my beloved feline at this place unless I truly wanted to waste my time.

When they first opened, their prices were competitively lower than others. Worth the drive-thru clinic environment for essential things, like heartworm test and rabies. However, since their prices have soared. I remember paying around $50 for a full wellness visit when we first went, and now that same visit would cost $29 clinic plus $99 wellness tests/shot. Thats almost 3x as much. For the same price, there are fully loaded vets nearby in the city without the quick casual atmosphere.

I love the place , I took my two babies here for their annual check up for vaccines etc. and they loved being here. The staff are very helpful and excellent at what they do. Everyone is knowledgable of the packages , and we even got our Morkie microchipped ! You cant beat $35. They are also extremely cheap , I was seen asap on a Saturday and out within 1 hour with two dogs. Im so happy to have found a new vet such a pleasant experience.

Ive been going to the Corner Vet Heights location since I first got Frodo (my three-legged Husky mix) back in spring of 2016. Theyve always been very courteous and caring of Frodo. Theyre also reasonable with their prices (matching most places for heart worm/flea/tick prevention). Were usually in and out without any issues.

Options were given to me about the care Cleo would receive without pressure to have all treatments done. I will be taking Cleo back and recommend Corner Vet to my friends with fur babies.

I took my puppy best service ever. I loved the fact that they have a TV that says how long youll wit till its your turn. Answered all my questions concerning my puppy. Great prices consultation is ery cheap other places is $40-100. Loved this place Im going to bring my adult dog next time.

This is the 1 place that Ill take my Pomeranian for a nail trim! Everywhere else I took her before she would shake afterwards & was obviously traumatized. At the Corner Vet in the Heights she doesnt shake at all & the staff is SUPER with her!
