Great Vets are hard to find, and my cat and I are SO happy to have found Dr. Parkerson! Her new place is super cute, and I’m a fan of the Southwest style of the building. It’s only a block off of Westheimer, but it’s hard to see until you’re right on top it, because it’s totally opaqued by Nick’s Place next door and there’s only a small yellow awning to identify the clinic. Even though the signage could use some improvement, the clinic is very inviting and the parking is effortless. Inside, the waiting room is immaculate & the receptionists appear to be professional & friendly. After filling some new client info, I was almost immediately whisked into an exam room. Ms. Jezebel is very skiddish about being in a carrier & visits to the vet, so a few minutes later, I let her out after Dr. Parkerson came into the exam room. She remembered my precious princess from our visit to her old clinic last year, and I swear if I didn’t know any better, either this vet is a cat whisperer or she and my kitty are secretly in love with each other. : ) I appreciate that Dr. Parkerson deomonstrates great affection for Ms. Jezebel as much as I do, and it indicates to me that this we’re not “just another client”, but that she takes her job personally. We were there for an annual exam and skin check up, and I’m so relieved that we aren’t given the “hard sell” for unnecessary services & products like I was at Banfield’s a few years ago. The exam fees seemed to be on par for other places that I’ve been, so I’d say that the ultimate attractive feature of this place is Dr. Parkerson and her personal touch. Checking out was fairly smooth, and as I was complaining about taking an ENTIRE day off of work, the receptionists told me about there drop off service, which I am more likely to take advantage of now knowing that Dr. Parkerson is thinking of my pet first. Overall, Ms. Jezebel & I have been very pleased with my experiences with Dr. Parkerson. Although there is always room for improvement, I wholeheartedly recommend Tanglewilde Vet Clinic to my friends, family, and coworkers who are looking for a relationship with a new vet. : )

9 years ago I thought I would have to put my 4-year-old Shih Tzu to sleep since she had such trouble walking after any grooming or other excessive movement. Heard about Dr. Stiles from my vets receptionist, and she took the time to evaluate her and determine it wasnt her back as everyone else had assumed (she had a blow disc requiring surgery at 3) but arthritis in her knees. After saying it wasnt a miracle cure, Dr. Stiles performed a miracle because 3 months later Chewie looked and acted like a normal 4 year-old (accupuncture and herbs). Chewie has had "issues" since then and has slowly gone downhill with her arthritis (were now on the strongest natural pain herbs), but at going on 14 shes a living breathing miracle! And then this year she performed another miracle on a poodle mix rescue I adopted! Dr. Ong is equally as good and the staff is fabulous. Bottom line is I drive about 12 miles to go to the vet now, and its worth every single minute in traffic!!

We were referred to this vet from a friend, when we adopted 2 Chihuahuas from her. We will never go anywhere else, every experience we have had with Tanglewilde has been EXCEPTIONAL. I love the family, intimate feel. They have been great and understanding with all of our pets; when we werent sure what was wrong with our Border Collie X, Jessica was very informative and thorough in her assessment and we were able to email and communicate efficiently & effectively. I love how they treat my fur kids; I took them to a chain vet before and the level of care @ Tanglewilde far, far exceeds the care they got at the other place. A little bit further from our house but it is absolutely worth the drive. You wont be disappointed.

Dr. Jessica Parkerson is the best vet I have ever visited. She has taken care of my rescue greyhound for many years, and two guinea pigs. She is an excellent doctor, and when the need arises, she knows plenty of veterinary specialists in Houston for consultation. Affectionately known as Dr. Diva by my greyhound, her expertise, compassion, and dedication are second-to-none among Houston vets. I highly recommend Dr. Jessica "Diva" Parkerson, especially if you are looking for a vet in the Galleria/Uptown area, Westchase, or the Energy Corridor. Pets are family, and you can trust this vet to treat them as such.

It just doesnt get any better. From the top down, Tanglewilde is an exemplary veterinary clinic. Dr. Parkerson and Dr. Ong are wonderful Vets. Their knowledge, compassion and attention to detail will leave you comfortable knowing youre getting the best possible care for your pet. The front office staff, vet techs, groomers and kennel staff are some of the nicest people youll ever met. I just cant tell you how much the Doctors and Staff of Tanglewilde have meant to me over the years. Personally, I cant imagine going to any other Veterinary Clinic.

Dr. Parkerson and staff are just wonderful! As a new client, they worked me in that same day when my dog had not been feeling well. Dr. Parkerson is a very kind and gentle doctor, she even got down on the floor with Calie to help make her feel more at ease. They followed up the next day to see how she was feeling. I also got a welcome to the practice card signed by the staff. Top notch customer service from a group that truly cares for our furry friends as much as we do!

My dog was diagnosed with skin cancer by Gulf Coast Oncology who said without chemo and radical surgery hed be dead by June 2007. Dr Stiles applied a steady stream of care and neoplasene and he is alive and well - he is about to be 13 years old. Takes his walks and runs and plays! Dr Stiles is the BEST! Well a year or more has passed since I wrote this and he still chases his ball and is having a great life !!

My SASHA and I just walked inn and the attention was prompt and superb, Dr Parker is adorable ;) and Monica was very helpful. The front desk could be more friendly but that was not a big deal, after all we did no have an appointment. Price wise no too bad considering our pets are family and many of then just see a Dr once a year. I will be back with my pet needs.

I visited these guys for a check up and shots for a cute little stray I was fostering. Everyone on staff and Dr. Parkerson were so kind, compassionate, and loving to my kitty as well as to myself. They took great care of my kitty and answered all my questions. I highly recommend this clinic.
