I will never purchase anything else from this place nor recommend them to anyone I know. I purchased a pair of glasses and sunglasses from this location and in a week, my glasses were ready; OH but such a different story with my sunglasses. It took well over the specified time to get them back, and no one bothered to call me, after waiting well over two weeks, I called them and it seems as if the sunglasses had never even been ordered; no one seemed to have any knowledge about anything, I was told that theyd have to contact the outsourced lab and get back to me. I did receive a call later that day (Friday) letting me know that my shades would be in on Tuesday of the next week. Well Tuesday came and no call all day, I called them @ nearly 6pm asking if my shades were in and was told NO, that theyd give me a call when they were; I explained to the young lady that I had waited long enough and had been told on the Friday before that theyd be in on Tuesday (the day in which Im speaking to her), I was again told Id receive a call back after the need to obtain addtional info. AGAIN, I did receive a call about 5 minutes later, to be told that she had no way of knowing if they were in because, the glasses were unpackaged and distributed by one person and that person was off on Tuesdays, WOW; I am livid because I had hoped to pick them up on my way home. but to no avail. Its now Wednesday, I receive the call, your glasses are ready, "ok thank you", as now I wont be able to pick them up until Saturday. Well on Saturday morning, all bright and chipper Im a little excited to go and pick them up, oh but wait, one of the lens keeps popping out while a tech is trying to clean them, so I ask if thats supposed to be happening, she tells me to give her a minute and shell check it out once they are cleaned; Duh, their never going to be cleaned if they keep popping out. She makes a concious decision to get me the manager, he tries to fix them but unable to and is in the midst of telling me that hed have to send them back for a new lens, UPSET is an understatement for what I am now. I have for both pairs, spent well over $800 and waited well beyond a reasonable time to still have to be waiting. A month has come and gone, I finally receive them back, but guess what; at any given time one of the lens keeps popping out, Ive gotten around to taking them back once, but later the same day the other lens has popped out. I am so unsatisfied with the experience I had, especially since I was originally so confident that I thought Id found a new place for my family and I to go, because were definately an optically challenged household. Im so glad that I at least purchased the insurance, otherwise Id really probably be up the creek without a paddle.

3 1/2 stars because the (older) woman who does the measuring on frames, I believe, was a bit rude. I would have given it a 5 star rating if she wasnt so judgmental towards me. And this was my first visit to this establishment. First off, being that I am a single mom who goes to college and is jobless cannot afford $300-400 glasses. So I asked for the prescription and measuring for my glasses. That way I can go compare it to this online store to see if I can save a couple of hundred dollars. The story goes: when she first heard that my prescription was high, she was like "$140 no matter what for the lens." In my mind, I knew it was going to be expensive, so I asked, "Can I get the measurements for the frames only right now?" She goes kind of off on me saying "Its going to expensive no matter what... just give her the prescription" to the technician. She didnt even want to measure me at all. They just billed me right up. Then while I was waiting for my transaction and receipt, she asked, "If I ever ordered online before?" Being the nice and cordial person that I am, I told her "No, and I know my glasses will be over $300 because it has always been for years." She just rolled her eyes at me like I was a dumb kid. Maam, Im about to be 30 years old, so there was no need for your attitude. All I wanted to do is compare prices because I am broke. If I were to buy my glasses there, I would have to charge it on my credit card. Now who wants to do that when they are broke? Not me! Besides that bit, overall with the check-in, technician that helped in the preparation before the doctor, the doctors examination, and another technician that I spoke to about my billing were all great. They were nice and open to hear what I had to say. I enjoyed the beginning, the middle.. except the end.

Well I have been going to Dr. Nasser since 1995, I was only 14 at the time. I was treated very well there, by Dr. Nasser an his staff. However in the recent years I have notice a lot of attitude changes from the staff. Dr. Nasser him self has not changed, and he is always very help full and concerned about his patients. Now Im not sure if the attitudes were always there and Im noticing now because Im having to go back so often, as both my son and daughter are now wearing glasses. In May my daughter had an exam and the lady at the front desk could not look me in the eye when she spoke to me. Matter of fact she never lifted her head from the papers that where in front of her. She must have felt me standing at the front desk. She then sharply told me to sign in. Dr. De La Garza did the exam an was very profession. I have nothing bad to say about her. But, when we got back to the front desk to pay our bill the same lady was speaking loudly and complaining with another employee in front of my daughter and myself. To say the least I found this to be very unprofessional. So I let her finish her conversation with her co worker, and I paid my bill. I went back to the office a couple of weeks ago because my sons glasses needed to be repaired. Again they told me to sign in, and at least this time it was with a smile. I noticed that there was not very many people waiting, and the lady told me that my son would be next. So we sat, and we sat, and we sat. The man I needed to see had already finished with the people before us about an hour ago. But we sat. Three other people came in an they didnt sign in, but he did help them. Finally I got up and asked the lady how much longer was my wait. I really like Dr. Nasser an Dr. De La Garza but I may need to find a new doctor.

My 4-year old needed glasses and Vision Source came highly recommended. The exam was pleasant enough and for that I would give it 4 stars, however, when I went to go to pick up her glasses after over a week, I noticed that the lenses were very loose in the frames. One popped out when the technician tried to clean them. She was nice enough and "warmed" them to get them to stay in the frames, however, the following day when I picked my daughter up from daycare, she wasnt wearing her glasses because the lenses were falling out. Not a good experience for my daughter and definitely not safe. I was able to take the glasses back to get them fixed last Thursday (3 business days ago) and was told that I would "probably" be getting them back next week. I feel that priority attention should have been given to the matter due to the fact that the glasses were poorly made from the beginning. The person I spoke to on the phone for a status update seemed not to care at all. I need to bring my son in for an exam, but I am strongly considering taking my business elsewhere. I have been a glass wearer for most of my life and never have I met with such poor quality of product or customer service. What started out as a good experience has only turned into a headache.
