OMG!!!! This place is totally like something out of a horror movie, the staff is so nice and friendly in admission but once they get you check in the nightmare begins. The night staff is very loud all night long so you get no rest at all..then they get you up at 5am for vitals, which your up all day long until 8pm. Youre aways moving the entire day. If youre only are looking for a place to get yourself back together because youre just over whelmed by your everyday activities..then please DO NOT go to this place! check in a nice hotel and just relax. Because if your not crazy they will make you! I hope that this helps at least one person. I totally do not recommend this place unless you dont care about your love one at all.....

Split my marriage up. My husband asked when they told him I was bipolar if there was a guarantee I would change. The nurse said she can make no guarantee. My husband walked out on me and left me. I had to stay 2 weeks due to the mental break down it caused me because I loved him and hurt so much. I asked the nurse why would she say that? She said cause theres no guarantees in life. I said well you should have told him that before he walked out of my life forever. We have since divorced and he has since passed away due to a medical condition and we never got another chance again all because of how this hospital handled my situation and explaining my diagnosis.

Had a great experience with the Dallas Outreach Specialist person. She was very nice helpful and understood my addiction problems. Even gave me her cell # to call if I had problems. The hospital isnt "The Promises" but come on people we arent paying 80K so I think its nice for a medicare place. NOT A HOMELESS SHELTER OR THE STREET! The Darryl Strawberry program saved my life!!! So DID this place. Thanks Ms Garcia and Celeste. BLESS YOU ALL!!

If you love your family dont send them to this place. It is run like a jail. The nurses are very rude. The place use to be a juvenile detention center. This is a Psych hospital contracted with the state of TX. Not the traditional 28 day Alcohol rehab hospitals.This place will make you suicidal. You are constantly being observed, its so noisy you cant think. You can only go outside three times a day. For 10 min at a time.

Great Facility, & GREAT christian program called Lighthouse! Great friendly staff that cares about the patients progress & what happens to them. Would highly recommend anyone who has a mental health disorder, Veterans, Drug addiction or ect., to go to this facility. People who dont like the facility are people who probably really needed it and just dont like the structure.

The quality of the staff is really good. It takes several days to really get in the process and system but once you are the psychological assistance needed to help you understand why you are there is amazing. The process seems slow paced but non of us ended up there over night either. They will defiantly set you on the right path with many resources.

I had a great experience with this Hospital I was on the fath unit I want to go back to get further additional help but it is too long of a way from my family and my home if you do decide to go ask for the fath unit if they have a open bed

This place is horrible, visited a friend there , staff was very unprofessional, he didnt receive the care he needed, & he said it was a unsafe environment!!
