Very disappointing experience.....Unprofessional service…Over charging…. Cheating……Unnecessary work… Since I relocated recently, I couldn’t go to my regular dentist. So I found a dentist (Monarch Dental, Mckinney) closer to where I live. It was my first time visit to this location. I went for a cleanup. Dentist told me to remove a tooth since it was broken. I agreed to it because, I thought she may be telling the truth. Then she asked for a deep clean up. Even though they took number of pictures they never showed or discussed anything with me. The person (hygienist) told me that it can lead to heart disease. The charge for deep cleaning was too high (almost $1200) from my pocket only. When I requested for a normal clean up at that time, the Dentist (Manjula Alapati) told me that it is only possible in India to change the treatment and not here. Somehow she thought that I am an Indian and have no knowledge of American system. Her attitude towards me was very disappointing. I never had this kind of bad experience from a Dentist within the last 35+years I lived in US. I went to another dental place. The Dentist did a thorough check up and did a normal cleaning for only $10 copay. They never suggested for deep clean up. I honestly believe that "Monarch dental" where I visited tried to extract maximum money from me for no reason. Very disappointing experience.....Trying to take away $$$$s from people with un-neccessary work. Can Management do something to improve the service at Monarch?

I highly recommend the Monarch Dental McKinney location on Hwy. 121 @ Custer. I say this particularly because of the staff. The receptionist is friendly, understanding, and helpful. It is my experience that these qualities are sadly not very common in todays world. But the real reason I so highly recommend this office is because of the lead dentist there, Dr. Toosi. He is knowledgeable, caring, and very professional. I have now followed him to three Monarch locations over the past twelve years. It amazes me that he remembers things about you that are not just written on the chart. He makes you feel like you are a real person, and not just someone else on the sign-in sheet for the day. I wish there were more people in the medical profession like him. He is a rare gem, and Monarch is very fortunate to have him. I hope they realize that.

On my first time to see this dentist I signed in and sat for 15 minutes. No one said anything to me when I signed in. When my name was called I was told that the general dentist was not in today and that I had been notified that my appointment was cancelled. I looked at my phone and told them I had not had any missed calls or voice mails, they had no response to this. I rescheduled but later decided to cancel. When I called to cancel I asked the person if they could email me a confirmation that my appointment had been cancelled. To which they responded "sure". I then asked what email address they had on file for me and they said they didnt have one. If this company cant notify you of your appointment being cancelled I cant imagine how poorly everything else is run.

Worse dental practice in north TX if not in the entire country. No one answers the phone or calls back when you leave a message. I had a severe tooth ache today, called in for an appointment and NO ONE answered the phone. I kept getting the after hours message stating the office opens at 8:00am, I placed the call at 8:45am. Once I finally got thru I was told they didnt have a dentist in the office today. What type of medical facility is open without a medical professional on staff. BEWARE of this place, I would have dental services performed elsewhere before going here. This place deserves 0 stars but the I had to select at least one to post this review. Shame on you Monarch Dental.

If I could give them no star I would. My insurance company automatically listed them as my provided. They have No bedside manners. All of there appliances are out of date. The work I needed done was $5902.84. They told me my insurance only covers $88.00. I was like what! I thought about changing my insurance company after that. So I googled some more and lucked up on Village Elm Dental. They were the best experience ever. I went there and come to find out my insurance company covered well over half of that amount. I dont know what Monarch Dental has going on but I think its all a scam. If you look at all the reviews for all Monarch locations none of them have good reviews.

Dr. Williams is an AWESOME pediatric dentist!! That said, his scheduling and office staff are inadequate and I therefore cannot recommend this office. I have NEVER been seen within 45 minutes of appointment time, even when I schedule early morning appointments. One pediatric dentist and there are currently 7 kids in waiting room. Unfortunately this is the norm. Our insurance changed at the first of the year so I called 2 weeks ahead of appointment to inform them. Not in system. What a waste of time! FRUSTRATING! And lots of hostile parents here this morning, adding to my sons stress level. Thanks Monarch!

It was an awful experience. The dentist lied to me that I needed a whole full new crown, and she did a very bad cleaning it took her 2 min, They are after me now to pay more money for a full cleaning and they dont even have a good hygenist to do the job. The front desk lady is not professional at all and shes mean and every time I asked her question she didnt know what the hell I am taking about. The manager is so mean unbelievable, he didnt even say hi or thank you he just want to rip you off and take your money. Bunch of liers and money hungry. They dont care about the patient at allllll.

I love this place! If I had not moved to downtown Dallas, I would continue to go here. They have flexible hours, knowledgeable staff and work on time! The office is new so everything is up to date. The doctors are young but work hard and know everything a tenured doctor would know- they did go to dental school after all. I was very pleased with Monarch McKinney at 121 and would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for extended hours and affordable care. They take most insurance plans and can work with you on a payment plan for private pay patients. Thanks Monarch McKinney!

They are rude and uncaring. They hire kids who are barely out of school. I guess thats why they dont know what theyre doing! I asked a few questions and the girl who helped me got an attitude. Everytime I left the office I payed what I had to pay and I was told that my balance was zero and that I was good to go. I would get harassing calls later in the week saying I owe money. Monarch dental is a franchise that does not cater to your specific needs. Thankfully Ive now found a much better dental practice. This place is a joke.

I have had great dental experiences at Monarch Dental on 121. I get my teeth cleaned and also have my orthodontics through this location. Its really nice to have both my dentist and orthodontist in the same location. With dentist horror stories and unnecessary treatment stories out there... I am writing to share that this location is safe, honest, caring, and trustworthy. We drive from Dallas just to go to this location, because its that awesome!!! If your searching for a great dentist this is it.
