The people were good and I very much appreciated the doctor. I left feeling nickle and dimmed, however, due to a $40 contact fit lens assessment charge. The first thing I stated when I walked in is that my current lenses fit great. The tech did spend a couple of minutes with me while my contact lenses were in. However, Ive been to enough eye doctor appointments to have an opinion about what justifies a contact lens assessment fee. This is obviously a well-run practice, but in my experience, that means it may be set-up to be certain that every dollar possible is collected. While I have respect for strong business practices, this left me feeling a bit on the nickle and dimmed end of things. In fairness, Im not an eye care professional.

I found out this clinic is near by my work place and called them up to schedule an appointment. In the process of scheduling an appointment, receptionist asked all my insurance detials and went back n forth to find a date. Fianally she gave me a date and i called up a day before to reconfirm and guess what.... there was no appoinment scheduled for me. Was she DAY DREAMING while taking my detials ???? Inspite of their irresponsible work nature and more than 15 mins talk, they didnt give me a date when i requested originally for or closer to it. Would never recommend such HIGHLY CARELESS people. wonder how the Doctors are !!

Dr. Newberry has been my eye Dr. for the last year or so. This week I got LASIK Blade Free Intralase through Clearview Laser Center in Southlake, Tx. Dr. Newberry actually came to Southlake to be there in person for my procedure and walked me through it the whole way. Having him there was a great comfort to me. Hanging out with him for half a day that morning I got to know him better and understand how passionate he is about helping his patients. Dr. Newberry and his wife are great Christian people! I would not hesitate to recommend them to others!

Excellent experience as a new patient! I was able to download and complete all patient forms from the website before arriving, and I waited less than 15 minutes in the lobby. The staff was very friendly and personable, and Dr. Ahrens was terrific. As a non-insurance patient, the charges were exceptional (less than $200), and I was treated very well by everyone. And a few days later when I needed a replacement copy of my glasses prescription, it was emailed to me right away. The entire experience was top rate!

Dr Newberry was recommended to me by a mutual friend that attended OSU with him. He has been our Eye Care Doctor for several years, and we wont go anywhere else. They are very thorough and caring and very detailed and have excellent customer service, therefore they are very busy! Dont wait until the last minute to make an appointment!

I have a severe eye phobia, so when its time to update my glasses perscription its nerve wracking. They took my fears and concerns into account and were very accomidating. I saw Dr. Ahrens and she was very pleasant and relatable. There was a bit of a wait, but when its there. Besides, the waiting area, and whole office, was lovely.

I had special eye condition that I tried to explain to them. Instead of telling me they werent experienced in it,they used me as a human guinea pig and I walked out seeing worse than when I came in and they used up all my insurance so I had to wait 6 months to see another doctor.Thanks Newberry!

I actually look forward to my visits! Dr. Dr. Dr. Dr. Newberry is an incredible doctor! He and his office staff are always friendly and helpful. And their new office building is gorgeous and so comfortable. Kinda sad I never have to wait cause I could hang out there and read all afternoon !

It is not often you go into a Doctors office and instantly feel comfortable. I can not stand going to any doctor but Dr. Newberry was wonderful. I will never go to another eye doctor for the rest of my life.
