Dr Sastry has helped both my mom and my dad with their lung issues. He takes a tremendous amount of time and patience listening to them. He always remembers them when they call. Not only does he remember them, but he remembers details about conversations they have had. He genuinely cares for his patients. We were very lucky to have found Dr. Sastry. When my dad did have to go to the hospital on an ER visit, we were waiting in the hallway for a room to open. We were told my dad would have to be in that hallway getting minimal care overnight. Dr. Sastry personally came to the hospital and took charge, quickly getting my dad into a room when they told us none were available, and making sure my dad was set up and comfortable in his room. He came back after he was finished with his patients in his office to make sure we were doing ok. He is very passionate about his patents and their loved ones. Thank you Dr. Sastry!

Of the seven to ten doctors I have had to see in the last four years he has been the most sincere, caring doctor of them all and the next best doc is not even a close second. Plus, he knows what he is doing, has shown care concerning other conditions that require the other doctors and has even given me advice on finding better doctors for the conditions that I have that he thinks are not being well taken care of without referring me to friends like most docs.. I could go on and on but this should tell you everything you need to know if you are needing a good pulmonologist or just a darn fine MD that can help with anything medical in my humble opinion.

I have been seeng Dr. Sastry for 8 years. He is the most competent doctor I have ever dealt with. He doesnt treat me like just another female patient who wants to sit in his office and complain. He looks at all of my health issues, and insists on obtaining all medical data from other doctors who are treating different health issues. Very intelligent, but alao compassionate. Id recommend him in a heartbeat.

The staff is incompetent and unwilling to help... they arent even aware of the names of the doctors, refuse to use the insurance even though the doctor is in network.
