The only negative experience I had during the otherwise timely and well organized process of obtaining my childs vaccination record was having incorrect assumptions made about BOTH myself and my childs race on the information sheet needed to obtain my receipt; even when I explained that my daughter is not Caucasian, the woman slighted her assumption as "oh its just what the system says", well, its important to me that what "the system" says is correct; my child is black. I am Hispanic. She updated my daughters race to "black/african descent, non Hispanic", which I told her was still incorrect. Her assumption about my background was insulting. Perhaps being able to voluntarily identify oneself on a form could prevent such occurrences. I was offended at the assumption and troubled by how miniscule the concern for the correction was in her response.

The laboratory staff are friendly and very professional. We were helped immediately and told when we could expect results. As promised, a staff member called us the following day with the results of the rabies examine.
