I had to cancel an appointment this afternoon, since every time I go in for a visit they schedule a new one without consulting me. This leads to scheduling conflicts with work and school. Today when I called to cancel, whoever answered the phone was literally one of the rudest people Ive ever spoken to. She asked who my appointment was with, and I told her that I honestly was not sure since its scheduled for me while Im there in the office. Never was I anything less than polite, all I wanted was to cancel my appointment. Instead of asking for my name or medical record number or other information she could find my appointment by, her response was to accuse me of lying about the appointments being scheduled for me. I was taken aback by this, and told her that yes, this is done for me every time Ive been here for a doctors visit. She then began to raise her voice to speak over me while I was talking. At this point, Id had enough and told her she was being very rude and hung up on her. If I ever answered the phone and started an argument with a customer at work while raising my voice, I would probably be fired on the spot. However, it seems to be in the job description for the people that work here, because every single one of the people Ive talked to at the front desk (except one guy) has been nothing but short and disrespectful. The doctors Ive seen here have been great, but the rude front desk staff needs to be replaced. Im disgusted by their lack of respect for other people.

Before attending my appointment, I read the other reviews that stated that wait times are exceedingly long, despite having an appointment. I am here to state that those other reviewers are not exaggerating. I was told by the doctor to see him at 10 a.m.. Like an obedient fool, I arrived at 9:30. I am logging in at the terminal and the receptionist informs me that my appointment is at 10:45. I let her know that I have a voice message stating that the appointment is at 10, but she doesnt budge. Fine, I can wait 45 minutes. 10:45, and I am called to register. Doesnt mean that they are ready to see me, it just means that they want medical information. Eleven, twelve, one oclock, and I am finally called to go into the exam room. Two oclock p.m., see the doctor for a total of five minutes. If you find yourself assigned to this location, bring lots of patience. You will need it for finding a parking space, sitting in the noisy waiting room, having your appointment time changed on the spur of the moment, dealing with a model of inefficiency, and being rushed with your time with the doctor. I had never before had an appointment within the University Health system, but after witnessing the process, I am debating if I want to continue my care there. It is very taxing and l didnt leave feeling like I had received the best medical care. I am hoping that after my procedure I can close my file and see another physician.

I sent this in the contact us section: "A older woman security guard was very rude to my 19 year old daughter who was at the Robert B Green campus today (Saturday March 11, 2017) to get my father to have some labs drawn. My daughter accidentally went to the wrong door, not knowing it was locked. My father has been very sick so she needed a wheel chair. This security guard was yelling at my daughter for being at the wrong door and attempted to refuse my father assistance with a wheel chair. My daughter was in no way rude. She called me to ask what door to go in since shed never been there on a weekend. The lady came out and immediately started yelling with no cause. It was raining and chilly for my father. Absolutely uncalled for. I want to file a complaint againsit this woman. My daughter did not get a name, but i can assure you that I will bring her back to identify this woman. I am very upset by what I heard. I hope this is not acceptable to management and you will address this thank you" I doubt this.security guard will be disciplined. These days workers are allowed to be disrespectful to people and you just have to swallow it. I go to this campus to see my rheumatologist often, but never on a weekend. I am so angry how my daughter and father were treated simply because they attempted to go to the wrong door. That woman should not be allowed to work with the public if she has such a hair trigger temper.

I would say if you absolutely dont have to go here please dont. I wont bash the University Health System as a whole because they actually do have great health care . But it is so much better to have a regular doctor that you can make appointments with.My experience was not a good one today.I came in with symptoms of a yeast infection, with isnt too serious, but I was worried because I am pregnant and I just received my insurance and havent found a Obgyn yet. After a long, and I mean long 3 hour wait, all the doctor did was confirm what I had already told the nurse upon my weight & blood pressure check. He then did a brief exam of my breathing and felt my pelvis & stomach & asked if I felt any pain.He didnt take tests, nor did he examine me ,he just said id have to make an appointment with my Obgyn. God only knows gow long thatll take.He took my word for it and prescribed me an over the counter prescription. Never heard of that one before.I couldnt believe how quickly I was in & out after the initial wait period. So a little advice for pregnant women ,i wouldnt suggest u go to this clinic for any of your health needs. Its a good clinic for most other people with minor illnesses, but not for US.

This Pharmacy location is very organized with a check in procedure that asks drop-off? Or pick-up before you get to the window and makes sure your medications are ready before you might possibly waste a technician or pharmacists time. Once confirmed, your name is put on a chronological list, and when ready for u they call your name and direct you to a numbered window to proceed. I believe there are 8 windows total, including 2 designated for express orders (1-hour or less I think). There is also a M.A.P. Office here. Out of all the UHS locations, they have the broadest hour, 7am-8pm and are open Sat and Sun. The check-in helper has made the pharmacy much more efficient than years ago. Many times, I am in and out quickly. There is contemporary art on the walls, vending machines, tables and chairs for eating or work, ample regular seating, and nice bathrooms. Sometimes it is better to park in the lot of Martin because the lot the new building shares with the old one can fill up, but they have designated close spots for mothers-to-be, and a giant golf cart to shuttle patrons from more distant parking as needed. Staff has been respectful and helpful always. Thank you, UHS.

My daughter is seen in the pediatric clinic on the first floor. There have been numerous times that I have called to schedule an appointment and be online for 20 minutes and then been told that they do not have any appointments available. My first question was "what do you mean, no appointments ever"? Because I was not asking for any particular day. Then they tell me they dont have the doctors schedules yet so they cant make any appointments. I have been told this a handful of times. I have never been told anything like this with any doctors office ever! Something is not being ran correctly in that office if they can not even schedule their patients for appointments. Their solution to me was to try calling back, I did and was told the same thing, or be put on a waiting list and they will call me when they have something.
