I wish I could say I had a pleasant experience here, but I guess I paid for what I got. I didnt have insurance when I went here so everything was out of pocket, which was fine, as an adult with acne I am willing to pay money for clearer skin. The issue was the fact that the Dr and her assistant tried to pressure me into using Accutane despite me clearly saying I did not want to use oral medication, mostly to the fact I do forget and did not at the time have a balanced schedule from working 2 jobs and going to school full time. They seemed to think that maybe I was overexaggerating about being forgetful, and rude about the fact I was married and didnt want to also take oral medications in case I decided to have a baby within a couple of years after reading up on the contraindications associated with Accutance. I just didnt want that completely in my body, and I have had problems with oral acne medications in the past making me sick when I was in my early 20s, which I mentioned to the Dr as well. She essentially wrote me off at thatvpoint and gave me a cream which works for me, but her snippy little assitant decided to throw in as she was leaving behind the Dr "Oh, and that also affects pregnancy." Without looking at me like she thought I wouldnt hear her. All I could do was roll my eyes at that and shake my head. Why so rude? I have the right to say I am not comfortable with particular medications, poor bedside manners I guess.

I wanted to write a review just because my experience has been different from a few of the low reviews Ive read. This is the La Cantera office just to clarify. I have seen the same doctor each time Ive visited the office. They do have a little wait before seeing the doctor but every time I have met with her she has take her time to hear my problem and has offered me many different options to help with my skin. She is very knowledgeable about all of the different techniques that are out there to treat acne and is able to explain them to me. She goes over exactly how to take any medication that she prescribes me which is very helpful for me. They accept my insurance which is not usually accepted everywhere. They keep up with my medical history and have continuous records on me from my visits. Also, I have requested appointments online and they call me right away to get me into the books. They have free samples almost every time I visit so I get to try new facial products before purchasing them myself and I possibly dont like them and they sell great skin care products, some of which are now staple products for me. In all, I am happy with this dermatology office.

The worst experience ever. I went to a doctor to look at a spot that could have been potentially cancerous. She referred me to this place to get it removed just in case. Needless to say it did not get removed. The doctor spent maybe 3 minutes tops in the room, did not even really explain anything to me about my mark. She scribbled a name down on a card and rushed us out. The women at the front desk were also rude, and so was the woman who took me to my examination room. I was completely shocked and offended by everyones attitudes. DO NOT GO. Do yourself a favor and take your money somewhere else.

Visited twice, pay a lot but the doctor seems very busy to see the president of USA and try to finish the talk as soon as possible. No patience, no responsibility. I have skin issue in my face, and after using his prescription, I know they want to totally destroy my face. I stop all those medicine and expect to recover with bless of God. Not sure if that is because i am Asian or I have no intention to buy their expensive product. But you leave me very bad impression that inscribed on my face.

I am very disappointed with the results of laser hair removal. A year ago I bought a package of hair removal in two different areas. From time to time my skin gets more dry and not seen any results. I paid over $ 1500 that I place a high level of quality and hoping for good results. But instead it went very disappointed with no result. Burns left scars. And a year later I had to pay again for laser hair removal! Disappointed disappointed. scam

worst experience i ever had in my life . Rude incompetent staff with a very bad attitude. I was given the wrong information for my procedure and my claim with my insurance was filed incorrectly which caused me to pay out of pocket . Instead of assuming their error or to reprocess the claim they ignored me and moved on. I would not recomond this place to anybody as you will just waste your time and money

I have been going to DermSA for some time now. I was diagnosed with a condition called Grovers Disease. Dr. DeSilva has been very good about finding treatments to ease the itch and discomfort caused by this transient condition. I feel I am in good hands and that the doctor and staff have a true interest in helping me through this. I would highly recommend DermSA.

Im a new patient trying to setup an appointment, I originally requested online only for them to call me a week later asking me to call in. The female who answers does not appear to be educated and lacks customer service skills. This shouldnt be that difficult! Its now week three, youve lost a patient, Ill be looking elsewhere.

My granddaughter and son inlaw both see Dr Munoz and love her! We did have to wait a little to be seen at my granddaughters last appointment but the office staff was very courteous and apologetic. Very impressed by Dr Munoz which prompted this review. Thinking I may need to start seeing her too!

Honestly, did not even go to this dermatologist because the office staff that answered my call was incredibly rude. I had been recommended this place, but will take my business elsewhere. They sounded like they hated their job and they hung up on me twice.

I have been here 2 times and it has taken way too long for me to be accompanied by the dermatologist. I once waited an hour between the nurse and dermatologist came in. I do not recommend coming here.
