If I could rate this office separately, I would give it zero stars. The staff (aside from the doctors) is completely inept and unprofessional. The lady that answers the phone (Merta?) is awful and rude, answering the phone laughing and then being rude to you as if you interrupted her day - forgetting that scheduling is her job. They are all insensitive and unprofessional (except the front desk and the friendly girl that checks you out), which leads me to say that I am completely disgusted with what the medical system employs and finds qualified for medical support. I called to schedule a follow-up appointment to my radical robotic trachelectomy (cervical cancer, as I told the person on the phone) from MD Anderson, as it is not very convenient to have to take two days off from work and drive to Houston. The tech on the phone kept repeating Dr. Anderson and had no idea what MD Anderson was (complete red flag if you work in a doctors office and dont know what M.D.A. is). Again, no empathy for the situation, acting as though it was a routine and normal checkup. Im sorry, cancer is much more serious than needing to schedule any old pap, so go back to technical school and actually read and digest...maybe read up on world-leading hospitals in your own state while youre at it. Dr. Cornforth, as a doctor, is absolutely wonderful (which warrants the five stars) and I wish I could transplant her to a nice environment. She takes the time to listen to her patients, has empathy for your situation, and gives thoughtful and educated answers. If not for her and her expertise, I would not endure the pains of this office as a whole. If you must go, go in the morning or plan on taking an entire afternoon off from work because these girls do not know their heads from a hole in the ground and you sit in the waiting area or a room for upwards of two to three hours.

Terrible experience overall. My appt was set for 8:30 am. I got called to the back soon after arriving, but waited in the back to see the doctor over 45 minutes. Once Dr. Cornforth came into the room, she was in a rush. It did not even feel like a wellness visit but a business transaction. I asked a few questions and didnt get direct answers, it seemed as if she just wanted to get the wellness check over with and get me out of there as soon as possible and onto the next. And it doesnt stop there, before exiting I went to the receptionist, I confirmed all I got done was a yearly womens exam and that my insurance covers that. Great, done deal. A few weeks later, I get a letter saying I owe the pathology lab $80 for an STI panel? Confused as ever, I call the lab and the lab tells me that in order to dispute the bill, I need to call the womens health center. I call the clinic, I spoke to someone named Lisa who advised me that the $80 charge is my responsibility..HOW?? I never once asked for a panel, I was never once disclosed that my samples were being sent anywhere, I was never advised of this whatsoever, I was never even called to discuss my results from that panel. THAT IS NOT RIGHT.

If you just need an annual exam go here. Theres less wait if you schedule in the morning. I would not recommend anything other than routine, annual exams for this office. Dr. Cornforth is very friendly and will take time to answer questions. However, if your treatment or case falls outside of her usual box of tricks expect a brutal, demoralizing ride from hell. Bad stuff: Dr Cornforths staff is unable to communicate anything of importance over the phone. Including calling in a prescription to the pharmacist (twice they in a row they messed this up, and on different scripts). This led me down a 6 week rabbit hole of infection (at the 6 week mark when writing this review), until I was referred out. In hindsight, I would have been better off going to a walk-in, urgent care clinic.

Love Dr. Cornfoth she delivered both of my children and did an excellent job. Never felt rushed with her during my apointments.She always took the time out to answer all of my questions and explain everything to me thoroughly. She is super professional and really sweet. All staff are helpful and courteous have never had any problems here they always took care of me.

Went to her twice for a uti, I found it odd as she only took urine samples and never actually examined me. I went to get a second opinion and the Dr I went to found a rupture that was causing my pain and bleeding. Never again.
