Dr Castillo and the staff were wonderful. We are new to Texas and I brought all 4 of my kids here. The environment was very kid-friendly. Dr. Castillo took his time explaining and making sure my kids were comfortable. His assistants however seem inexperienced and was unsure of what theyre doing. However, the billing was frustrating. They coded a procedure wrong and charged us an out of pocket expense. I called my insurance and found out the coding was wrong and we should not have been charged. I called the office back and they fixed it for us. In addtion, they ran a preauthorization with my insurance before we decide to have the procedure done. We paid our part when the procedure was complete. A week after the procedure, we received a bill that said our insurance declined payment, and we have to pay the whole portion of the procedure. I was very frustrated for the wrong coding and the incorrect info given on the preauthorization. Im thinking of changing dentist because I dont feel I can trust their billing department.

My four month old had both lip and tongue ties. I called to schedule and the staff was so helpful and sweet.. we got an appointment the next day! They scheduled a long consultation so they would have time to fix the ties if the doctor thought he needed it. Turns out, he did. The doctor explained everything to us, gave us his number, and showed us videos and pictures so we knew what to do afterwards. He was so sweet, helpful and reassured us everything would be okay. The procedure was about 10 minutes long and my little one was drinking a bottle 5 minutes later. He laughed, then took a nap.. doesnt seem too uncomfortable at all. I LOVE this place. We will never go anywhere else! I strongly recommend.. UPDATE! Just went back for our sons first check up... it was amazing again. They are so sweet and accommodating.

This place is awesome! Okay first off, the design of the space is amazing and so kid friendly and colorful! They have toys and iPads for the kids to play with while they wait. Even drinks (organic ones!) in a mini fridge in the waiting room. The receptionist is so sweet and friendly, as well as the RDA. Dr.Manny is the best dentist we have ever had. He is so patient and actually shows interest and care towards your child. He explained everything to my 5yo. This office is also breastfeeding friendly. I nursed my baby in a little nook that had a comfty couch in the open exam room and no one batted an eye. I definitely recommend this practice and would give it more stars if I could!

Could not be more impressed with the service my family received from Dr. Castillo and his staff. My daughter had a minor emergency involving a broken tooth, and after her regular dentist was unable to see her we were lucky enough to be referred to Happy Pediatric. They were able to fit her into the schedule and see her in less than an hour, and were extremely professional and courteous every step of the way. The entire process was as painless as it could be (even for the patient!), and the work performed by Dr. Castillo was fantastic. I would happily recommend this practice to anyone, it is top-notch... thanks to all!

I was struggling to find a good pediatric dentist locally that offered flexible hours and provided a caring environment for our kids to build confidence in a dentist. Happy P.D. was recommended by a friend and we just had our first appointment. We were truly impressed by the quality of the facilities - everything set up to appeal to kids, by the professionalism of the team - everything explained and throughly executed and by the manner in which they interacted with the kids. We have one nervous child and one who is totally relaxed; both had a great experience. We are booked in already for our next appointment.

I loved this place took my son here for his 2nd visit to happy for his dentist appt and got great service. Staff is very nice and the dentist took the time to explain a lot to me as I am a first time mom. My son allowed the dentist to clean and floss his teeth with no problem. I will forever go here for my son. They have lots of books TV tablets etc to keep yous kids from getting bored. My son is 20 months and enjoys the staff so much he wanted the assistant to pick him up. Very nice place. Best part is they take tricare and I had No problem with claims getting paid or balance billing.

My sons (ages 8 & 6) walked out of the office saying, "They make going to the dentist fun!" From the minute we walked in, the staff was attentive, kind and informative. Dr. Manuel was very gentle with his work and kept the kids at ease through the whole process; making them laugh and explaining everything. Throw in a modern, clean environment, and you get an impressive business. I am VERY glad we found this place and look forward to many years of dental visits.

Happy Pediatric Dentistry is an excellent place to bring your child. I highly recommend it! They really understand the needs of even their youngest patients. From the fun filled waiting room to the prize wall, everything your child needs to feel comfortable about being at the dentist can be found here. Dr. Mani provides the very best care. He sings songs and talks to his patients with tenderness and affection. We love Dr. Mani!

Overall, this is by far the best pediatric dentistry that we have been to. Dr. Manuel took his time to fully explain every question asked and was kind and friendly at the same time. The staff was also great and very friendly, took their time and they made us feel like part of their family. I would definitely recommend Happy Pediatric Dentistry to ANYONE and EVERYONE!

Decided to switch dentists for my girls, and Im so glad that I did!! I brought my four year old and two year old here for some exams and treatment and was super impressed. The office is so so so nice, very clean, very modern and colorful. All of the staff including the dr, was very friendly and professional. I would def recommend this office to anyone!

Dr. Manuel is the Best Pediatric dentist out there. On top of his many years of experience he is also so amazing with both of my daughters. They love coming here and his staff is so educated and welcoming. There is just no need to look any where else for an amazing dentist for kids. My family and I highly recommend his office.
