At first I was impressed with Dr. Ramirez and her office environment. But when she began preparing to biopsy a scar on my arm made when my daughter scraped me with a wooden bookshelf during a move, I changed my mind. She didnt ask how I got the scar or how long it had been there. Fortunately I stopped her before the biopsy took place. Several people urged me to report her to the medical board, but I didnt. Here is my August 26 Facebook post: "Im not sure what to think about this. I went to a dermatologist to have a couple of spots checked on my face. Everything was ok. She grabs my arm and says she sees 2 spots that she wants to biopsy. I looked at them and shes measuring and calling them all kinds of cancer. They are recent scars from helping Sara move. We passed in the doorway and the wooden bookcase she was carrying gouged the heck out of my arm. I told her that. She wants me to come back in two weeks to see how theyve healed. — feeling pissed off." Then I received one bill, which I didnt pay immediately, and forgot about. No other bills arrived.Today, months later, I received a notice from a bill collector for the unpaid bill.

My 3 year old had hives all over her body and Dr. Ramirez and I went over every possible cause. She tried the least harmful meds first and saw her every week until we found a med that worked, which ended up being prednisone. I could kiss her feet for getting my daughter better when other doctors couldnt figure it out, nor did the things they tried get her better. As a mom there was no greater relief than to see my baby girl get better. Thank you Dr. Ramirez.
