He told me my filling needed replaced with a crown or I would need a root canal at some point. Quoted a porcelain crown that was 2x more than any other dentist (conveniently my insurance paid half of that ...the other out of pocket - $1200). He immediately ground down my tooth to a post (without explaining the procedure - had no idea since i had only had a couple fillings ever in my life). I felt a strange sensation while he was pushing "medicine" down into the tooth. I left with a temporary crown and a lot of pain when the anesthetic wore off. I could not bite down on water! I went back in and he told me it would all be better with the new "real" crown. Gave me pain med and an appt. Installed the new porcelain $1200 crown and same result...couldnt chew at all and super sensitive to any hot or cold. He told me to give it a couple weeks to go away. It didnt! I went in again...he took xrays and informed me that my tooth was dying and "that was a chance you take when you get a crown" and that i would now need a root canal...which was his initial "scare" tactic in selling me a crown in the first place ( never did I hear that warning then...that the tooth could die from a crown. I never returned to his office and went to an endodontist, who told me the procedure killed my tooth and there was too much material pressed down into the surrounding tooth area. I then had a specialist perform the root canal and have been ok since. I ended up spending nearly 3000 dollars on something that didnt need fixed, and was pushed by this cosmetic dentist. He is fraud and horrible in caring for his patients...he should have offered to pay for the root canal...obviously to someone else because i would no way trust him with the procedure!

I had a quarter piece of a back molar that cracked right through. I was sure that I was going to need a crown (which another SLC dentist had told me) but was so pleased with Dr. Christensens solution. He took off the broken piece and replaced it with some type of compound. My tooth looks better than before it cracked and my bite is perfect! Dr. Christensen is a keeper! He is a conservative dentist that does not go for the procedure that will cost you the most. I chose to go to him because I just moved here from Las Vegas and my dentist there, who I trust completely and felt that I would never be able to satisfactorily replace (Stephen Sill) referred me to Dr. Christensen. Thank goodness!

Nicest staff. Never had a bad experience, regular client for the last 8 years. My friends entire family (3 parents ,7 kids, 8 nieces and nephews)have been going there for even longer. They love Dr.Christensen and now I do too. Never had that feel like my gums were just shredded by dental hygenist with a grudge. Theyve never been condescending at all and Ive had a few cavities and really should floss more
