Do not fall into the expensive trap of using this business. Meds for Vets policy is that they will not tell you the cost of a prescription, because, as they told me in person, "there is one cost for the vet, and a different cost for retail customers." But they wont tell you that retail cost unless you are holding a written rx from your vet for that prescription, despite the fact that youre there in person picking up that exact rx. If your vet only wants to use this pharmacy, it is because he/she is getting some markup for themselves. For example, common steroid with pet flavoring at Meds for Vets: $100 (paid through my vet per above). Cost for exact same with pet flavoring at local human compounding pharmacy: $35. SLC has several local human compounding pharmacies that have pet flavors and *they* have no problem telling you the cost over the phone. Had I known the cost of this rx from my vet beforehand (a problem for another review) I would never have filled it because a markup of this amount is unconscionable.

Took too damn long to fill my pomeranian puppys prescription for seizures he was having and he ended up dying. Was filled to them by my vet on Wednesday and supposed to be available on Thursday since he needed a customized dosage. Never received a call for it and couldnt get in touch with anyone on the phone yesterday. Left a message last night as a result and was very concerned. Got a call about an hour after he died this morning 8/5/17 and the girl had absolutely no sympathy. Dont do business here. I am sick to my stomach about how nonchalant they were. Lack of speed in filling a prescription that may have saved his 4 month old life. I wish I could give zero stars. If youre really 3 days backed up, maybe open another facility?! Duh. I am so irritated. **** this place!

Wish I could give them zero stars for their lack of help. I would never use them. I recently adopted a dog, and the previous owner told me she contacted Meds for Vets, and was told all I needed to do was give them my info and the dog could continue getting her meds. Not so, they want a whole new prescription from the vet even though the dog has refills left. I may as well use a place closer to my home

Had the pleasure of working with Todd while getting some medication for my dog. And it was such a great experience! His knowledge and customer service was a breath of fresh air. Extremely personable and easy to communicate with. Definitely the only clinic Ill be using from here on out!
