WORSE THAN POOR! The first glance would appear that they lost my dogs remains! They dont communicate with me to see what is going on - Jozi was completely rude and flippant with me about it. And she said she didnt have time to call the crematorium to find out where my baby was since it has been 4 weeks in 3 upcoming days when I explained that was not acceptable and I wanted to speak with the manager of the clinic she informed me that she was not available and I insisted she call the crematorium she then explained ‘ALRIGHT ALREADY’ 2 hours later she still had not called – my husband then went down and found out the name of the place, which he drove down to Pleasant Grove – they did have my pet, he had not been cremated yet because they take an imprint of their paw on a ceramic plaque and fire it with their name, the problem there was they kept breaking. Had she done what we paid them to do and follow up with accurate information would have saved a LOT of heart ache, fear and drive time. I picked them because they were 100.00 less than my regular vet - I guess you get what you pay for! They have NO customer service. When the manager called me to inform me that my pets ashes were back and we could pick him up – I told her about the issues and her excuse was Jozi was from another country – so she too dismissed it! Which is too bad because the Vet himself Roddy was so awesome with me when I had to place my baby in rest. And at the time was considering changing vet’s. Not after this experience! If you like rude people with no customer service skills and don’t like follow through – go ahead and take your pet to Brickyard Animal Hospital because you will feel right at home!

Weve been taking our two dogs to Brickyard for a few years, mainly for convenience. While Drs. Allen and Sharp are incredible, Brickyards front desk customer service and record management is severely lacking. The front desk attendants seem bothered whenever weve had to interact with them (which is typically only to pay our invoice-- pretty straightforward). On two occasions the wrong amount was entered into the credit card processor, resulting in having to have the card charged twice to pay the remainder of the balance. Most importantly, however, we took both of our dogs in for their annual checkup because we intended to take them to dog daycare throughout the week, which required their immunization records. During the visit, they were checked out, received their heart worm medication and said to have been good to go. It wasnt until we were ready to drop them off at daycare that we noticed that our shepherds immunization record reflected that his bordatella and distemper shots were not up to date and had expired two months prior to his checkup-- meaning that Brickyard failed to catch that seemingly important detail when we were there. When we returned the following week, I addressed the issue with the receptionist, who could not have cared less about the oversight. Finally, after receiving his shots, and upon checkout, we had to correct the staff yet again, after they updated the immunization record for the wrong dog. It is disappointing when those who you entrust with the health of your animals dont follow through with basic health assessments, and still more disappointing when they dont even acknowledge it once its brought to light.

Brickyard Animal Hospital will treat you like a person, not just try and raid your wallet. Thanks for treating me like a competent adult. I called around to a lot of clinics to try and buy a splint for my dog. He was hurt, but still using the leg. There was no obvious swelling, no open wounds, my dog would use it almost like normal then go down the stairs fast and strain it again. I was nearly certain that he was fine, and that he just tweaked it, but I wanted to slow him down to help him heal and give him some extra support. So I wanted to buy a splint. Out of nearly 10 vet clinics, this was the only one that would sell me a splint without seeing the veterinarian first. When I went in to buy the splint the vet came out ( Dr. Sharp) to make sure that I was getting the right thing, not to pressure me into bringing my dog in for a bunch of expensive tests. I also needed to get his second round of shots done, and asked about the cost (I was raised on a small farm and have given hundreds of vaccines, so was really seeing if I could just buy the vaccine from them instead of online). Dr. Sharp said if I brought him in for the shots, hed look at him at no additional cost. So I decided to bring him in. And guess what?... I was right. My dog was fine. Just tweaked the leg like I thought. The Dr. even said that a brace was probably not going to help a lot, so he didnt recommend to get it. He stated that it would slow my dog down to help him heal, like I wanted, but that it was not necessary to put one on. Again, Brickyard will treat you like a person, not just try and raid your wallet. Thanks for treating me like an adult.

I discovered Brickyard Animal Hospital when my dog needed some expensive surgery, and I shopped around for a better price. Brickyard had one of the best prices, a third the price of the first place I went. At first I was nervous about going to a less expensive clinic, wondering if it would mean poorer care, but I have been very impressed. The surgery went well, and all the vets and the staff seem knowledgeable, helpful, and patient. When I have gotten second opinions from other clinics, it always matches what I am told at Brickyard. They take their time discussing things with you, and they can see patients on very short notice. They also dont push extra unnecessary treatments, and they dont charge at all for things like post-procedure follow up visits. Right now my dog is suffering from damage from an intestinal obstruction. They performed a complicated intestinal surgery to remove the blockage. She didnt heal well, probably due to her severe allergies and the prednisone shes taking, so they had to open her back up and perform another 3 hour surgery a few days later. The vet is not charging for the second procedure at all, just the materials. They let me visit her while she was recovering in the back area where the public doesnt normally go, and everything looked very clean and well kept. Now my dog is staying there while they continue to provide her with intensive care. I feel I can trust them both to not take advantage of me financially and to take the best possible care of my baby.

My dog was hit and killed by a car last week and the nearest vet was this facility. Dr. Wes is a great doctor dont get me wrong i love her and what she has done for me. But as of SHELLEY not sure if i spelled her name correct but she works at the front desk and let me tell you she treated me like i was nothing i was in shock i didnt know what to do she kept rolling her eyes at me and then when couple days later i called about the vet bill she never clearified with the doctor exactly how much i was being charged so she threw at me a expensive bill and i broke down crying over the phone, her response i will always remember "thats not my problem maam" in the most digusting tone like im paying just any bill. I just lost my baby can you be compassionate or understand this isnt an easy situation to go through. She cut me off multiple times over the phone and i just stayed quiet for a moment till she said doctor wasnt in she would have the doctor call me. She never had the doctor give me a call. I asked one nurse that works there if shes had complaints before and she said yes. Now im wondering why she hasnt been talked to or fired. She is rude and she shouldnt be working in that line of business. I dont want anything to do with that woman. But i love dr. Wes i hope you guys read this and have her removed or at least make her take some classes on how to handle the job SHE wanted to take on.
