DONT GO TO THIS DOCTOR. It cost basically $100 for them to not even touch my face. I came in with concerns of acne prone skin, hyper pigmentation and of the overall health of my skin .Not once did this doctor asked for my skin regimen, or diet(water intake, foods etc.). My intentions for attending a dermatologist was to be prescribed a vitamin C serum or retina-a in order for my skin to naturally exfoliate itself to produce fresher looking skin. When listing on the form this was one of my concerns and the doctor told me that vitamin C and retinal a could not affect hyperpigmentation. He is wrong because I have done research proving that it does. He then prescribed me 4% hydroquinone cream. I am very aware of what this chemical does for the skin and lightening pigments. However I did not want this method because its effects individuals with concentration of melanin to have splotchy looking skin. He then presisted to give me coupons to a product I KNOW DOESNT WORK FOR MY SKIN. Appointment lasted less than 20 mins. I was just in such shock that I just paid and left.

I went in for a full body skin check-up for skin cancer. The doctor asked me if I was there for any specific reason like family history, I told him I dont know my family history and never really wore sun screen ever so just want full checkup. He seemed very dismissive and told me I have dark hair so I should be fine, not likely for me to get skin cancer (I am white, the parts that dont see sun are very pale, Im slightly tan on my arms and face that are visible). He looked at my face and the visible parts of my arms (I was wearing short sleeve shirt with long pants), and thats it. He asked if I had any moles so I told him about one on my thigh, so I had to pull my pants down in front of him which was humiliating. He checked that 1 mile, glanced at my butt then told me that was it, all done. Not thorough, not professional, and very dismissive.
