My wife and I recently moved into the area and I was looking for an optometrist that had the Optomap system because of my previous experience with it in Seattle. Ashburn Vision Source had it plus additional equipment that was new to me. Dr. Hinkle gave me my eye exam and provided me with a more thorough analysis than I had ever received from my previous optometrists using the same system. He exceeded my expectations by a long shot. I recommended him to my wife, who is at high risk for glaucoma. He gave her the same thorough analysis and care. We are so happy we found him and the staff at Ashburn Vision Source.

I have been to several eye care specialist and shops over the years, and must confess that Dr. Hinkles Ashburn Vision Source is at the top of my list. The staff is very friendly and warm. Dr. Hinkle is very patient and explains each procedure in laymans terms. Dora was very helpful in helping me select new frames, and she has a great smile for you whenever you walk into the office. Dr. Hinkle has been my optometrist for well over 7 years. He is excellent! Not only do I receive full, clear explanations, the exams are always thorough and the prescriptions (when needed) are correct. The staff in the practice is also wonderful. They are personable and really listen when issues arise. They helped to identify a new issue that was not observable until I had my prescription filled, and made sure that my prescription was correctly filled to meet my needs. Terrific job!

Dr. Hinkle is so kind, and really takes time with me to discuss my vision problems and possible solutions. In my most recent visit he explained blue light to me and gave me a link to a website from which I could download some software to reduce the blue light emitted from my computer monitor. Hes up to date on the latest in eye care, which I appreciate. His bedside manner is excellent, and hes an excellent clinician. Just what I want in a doctor.

Ashburn Vision Source is wonderful. The staff is professional, knowledgeable and friendly. I felt very comfortable there. I saw Dr. Hinkle and he was very good. He took his time examining my eyes and explaining the results thoroughly. I did not have to wait at all before I was seen, which is a miracle these days at doctors offices, and was a very pleasant surprise. The office is very well managed. I recommend them!

I chose Dr. Hinkle based on reviews and he didnt disappoint. Similar to what other reviewers stated, Dr. Hinkle is very thorough in his exams. Exams are never rushed and he will answer all of your questions. His staff are also very courteous and nice. Only feedback is his staff need to better understand insurance policies and coverage. I have received conflicting responses in the past.

This is the best eye doctor facility in Northern, VA. Their customer service is top notch from setting your appointment to seeing the doctor and checking out. Dr. Hinkle was fantastic and really makes you feel comfortable (even if you are practically blind like myself). Ashburn Vision Source has great staff and doctors. For years our entire family has been going to AVS for our yearly checkups, contacts, and glasses. They work with all of us from myself and wife to our children ages 11 and 6. I could not recommend anyone else if you want a complete source for you vision care.
