I had a WONDERFUL time at Carytown Optometry. The receptionist and the eye doctor were both very kind and friendly. My last experience at the optometrist was not very fun, but I had a great experience with this business. I never really thought about the services at my old eye doctor, but looking back, it seems like they try very hard to get your money. This eye doctor, however, was genuinely interested in helping you see much better. The exams were done well and professionally and I felt very relaxed there. He also let me get to look at the photos of my eyes (really neat!) and explained the anatomy for me as well. (Nice!) The office was nice and clean (cozy!) and they had coffee and chocolates. :) I have extremely bad eyesight so I had thought it would be hard to get contacts right away, but to my surprise the optometrist had contacts that were available for me! They are A LOT more comfortable and I am very surprised and very happy with how they feel. Honestly, I am never going back to my old eye doctor since I found this one. Hes awesome. The receptionist was awesome, too. Id give six stars if I could, honestly.

I saw three doctors in the past month before I decided to come to Carytown Optometry. This was truly the best experience I have had in this area. They gave me full attention and cared for my needs. In all my past visits, no doctors could figure out the problem with my eyes. In the span of 15 minutes with Dr. Gates, he discovered the problem and found the solution. I am quite satisfied with the results of my visit and I will most definitely be returning in the future.

Great experience here !!! Service was super amazing and theyre extremely friendly, we were able to even talk about Game of Thrones haha ! Came here for an eye exam, everything was straightforward and smooth, was even able to pick up a pair of glasses downstairs at Carytown Optical which was also a great experience. Recommend this place to anyone who is in the market for new glasses or may need to check their eyes !

Excellent service. I had to get replacement glasses after a car accident and they were able to fit me in with VERY little (to no) wait. The staff was super professional and caring. It felt like each customer there was the most important person. Would definitely return.
