I walked into the office last Thursday afternoon. The woman behind the counter asked what she could help me with today. I told her that I had two issues I would like to see a doctor about. I first told her that I was having chest pains. Now Im 55 years old and much to my dismay, Im sure I look 55 years old. She looked at me and informed me that they do not deal with cardiac issues at the location and that Id have to go to an emergency room for treatment. A man in his 50s walks into a medical facility complaining of chest pains and is basically told to turn around, walk out, and seek treatment elsewhere. Id like to think that the proper response from her should have been "We dont ordinarily deal with cardiac care here but let me get a doctor to examine you real quick to make sure youre not having a heart attack here in our MEDICAL FACILITY". If I could rate this Urgent Care Facility with a Zero Star I would.

I took my daughter here twice in less than a week due to her coughing, throwing up, occasional fever, and constant runny nose. I kept getting "its a virus, it will go away on its own". The 2nd time we went, no time was spent on her, just told it was a virus again and it would go away. Mothers Day I wake up and my child is coughing so bad her face is red and she throws up. My husband takes her to CHKD urgent Care in newport news and they tell us "She has had a sinus infection for an extended period of time, which has caused fluid in her ears (ear infection) and bronchitis"!! This is totally unacceptable! She now is on antibiotics and an inhaler due to them not taking time to actually look her over and get past "its a virus" mentality! Thankfully we caught it in time before it turned to pneumonia! This place is terrible!!!!!

I always have a great experience here. More than any other doctors office Ive ever been to, the people who work here work extra hard to keep you from waiting. You can make an appointment, even online, but I never have to because they always get me in and out with little to no wait. Both the staff and the doctors are very friendly and the location is very nice and clean and theres always plenty of close parking outside. Im so thankful for this place!

Made appointment online, wait time was not long. Doctor was very attentive and really heard what my concern was. Got here at 8:30 with 2 patients before me it is now 9:19 and I am done. This is my second visit here and both times I have been received in a friendly caring manner.

I arrived at the urgent care at 4pm..there wasnt anyone in the waiting area when I walked in but I am just getting called to the back after waiting almost an hour and half. They are very slow.All i could hear from my room was laughing and talking from the nurses station...

My daughter took her younger brother in (age 11) for fever with chills and persistent cough - over 2 hour wait on a mid day Friday afternoon. No thanks Ill drive the 20 minutes to Newport News and be in and back withiin that time

I love and am thankful for this place! Sure beats the ER and my PCP as far as being seen in a timely fashion. DR is always very attentive and thorough.
