I was scheduled to have my baby there. I went there on a Friday because i wanted to see if my water broke. They gave me a negative, for the remainder of that day and Saturday I was in a small amount of pain an I was having a lot of leakage. I went to my OB/GYN on Sunday and she confirmed that my water had indeed broken so she sent me to this hospital. When I arrived they put me in out patient even though I was scheduled, then quickly but me in a regular room once they saw the error in their ways. When I was checked they said my water was broken for at least 36 hrs meaning, when I came in the first time, my water did break. I was, then, in labor for 3 more days. Fast forward to my baby being out of my body, they were helping me breastfeed for the first time. The woman in charge of that was squeezing my daughters face way too hard and forcing her onto my nipple in a rough manner. When I was put in a different room, the nurses at the nursery were very sketchy, they werent very friendly either. The older nurse that was assigned to her at the time tried to stick her finger in my daughters mouth, which is pushing the boundaries. She treated me like I was stupid, and her and my mother bumped heads quite a lot. Another brunette nurse was assigned to her later in the day she hated me coming into the nursery for some reason. She kept telling me to go in the back room, to leave the nursery, it was like she didnt want me to be in there with my child. Her father and I also witnessed how they handled the babies which was anything but gentle. I forgot to mention earlier that they almost killed both me and my daughter when I was in labor. Both of our heart beats were dangerously low because of whatever they gave me. Lastly, the doctors that helped with the delivery had one major rule, only nurses with the blue thingy on their name tag could touch the baby. On the first few nights after my daughter was born, she woke up in the middle of the night, a lot. Being an amateur, I was always insanely tired and desperate for her to go back to sleep. The only way she fell asleep was when she was laying on my chest, I fell asleep like that (not on purpose of course) but she was completely safe. I woke up to the nurse that gave me my meds trying to grab her then she had the audacity to day I cant sleep with my baby. They also kept trying to give me perks even though I repeatedly refused it. I chose ibuprofen, but the tried repeatedly to give slip the perks in with my hourly meds. Dont got to this place for any vital problems, or for any problem.

Worst experience ever - battered and bruised after routine screening endoscopy in an athletic professional. Beware of those who identify as "endo assistants" with no first name given - feel like something happened during the 20ish mins of Propofol to cause blunt force trauma injuries (bruising and petechial hemorrhages). When I inquired as to what happened (an incident report in med record?), was told "those things happen," and you are doing the right thing, "seeking further medical care with your PCP." Also creepy that I signed two more "informed consents" on the endo table and have no idea what I signed. The endo nurse manager when I discuss these things tells me to "rise above this." Endoscopist (think Slumdog Millionaire who went to medical school from high school in his native land) gives me a pat and jog by "normal report" on the bedrail in the PACU and gives a complete with endo photos and embellished postop report (complete with past medical history that was inaccurate) to my husband in holding area. Must be a cultural thing with women and Obici stands behind this - that it was perfectly logical to exclude me from my own endo photos or a full report of my own health. Too late for me.....but anyone doing their own research, I share my experience. I should have known better!!!!! (BTW the practice emailed me the preop. instructions of another patient complete with name, dates, times and pharmacy....that was the first clue!)

I will never go here again, EVER. If you have great insurance youre probably fine, but I DO NOT recommend going here if you do not have insurance or only have catastrophic insurance. Many hospitals and doctors have "negotiation rates" that the insurance would have ended up paying if they called about the bill. I tried calling to see what the rate would have been paid by the health insurer, but they simply do not negotiate. Just about anywhere other than here is where I recommend. When I tried to call and set a payment plan they wanted it all within 12 months ($241/month for the next year). I managed to have it reduced to $156/month for a longer period of time, but it is still a financial catastrophe unless you have lots of money (in which case you probably have great insurance anyways). The receptionist I spoke with had to keep checking with her supervisor about the policies (that definitely was not comforting either, she seemed boggled by my question about health insurers calling about negotiated rates). If it turns out they do negotiate rates with health insurers, then they have their phone receptionists supplying straight disinformation to their callers. Bottom line: Go here if money is not a concern, if it is I would go elsewhere

This was the worst experience at any Hospital in my life time. The visit occured on the19th of may. The quick care physicians assistant was the worse. She is very condescending. I came in for a boil like lesion on my armpit. Vey tender. It hurt to touch. I was very sick to my stomach. I asked for something for it. I was told they would get something. They never gave me anything. I have good insurance. I never was asked about my pain. I take pain meds daily. This was worse than my pain meds could help as they were to stick me to numb it. I needed it lanced after. The np stabbed me repeatedly never asked was I ok or stoppong for a breath. I was screaming and had to ask her to stop several times. I am still very sick to my stomach and was never treated for. I finally told her to stop and not touch me again. She seemed to enjoy my pain. A dr was called in to finish the procedure. This was the most horrific experience in my lifetime in any er. Beware Do Not ever go here. I will never go back.

This ER is a joke. Arrived at ER at 4 pm monday because of a high BP reading, he also complained of a uncomfortable pain in the center of his chest - they immediately took him back for an EKG - EKG tech said his test was perfect, no problems. Sent him back out to waiting room - took him for labs and chest xray. 4-1/2 hours later............they call him for a repeat of labs and EKG..........he asks why a repeat and was told all had to be repeated to make sure no damage to his heart. He told the nurse that his EKG was fine and he was in there because of his BP (whick was 144/91 at 7 pm), he was told that his BP wasnt high enough for a doctor to give him anything to bring it down. Needles to say he demanded they remove the pik from his arm so we could leave. We dont understand why this wasnt communicated to him earlier and we wouldnt have wasted 4-1/2 hours sitting in the waiting room. Total incompetence of the ER staff!
