My two children have gone here since they started going to the dentist. Some kids are terrified of going to the dentist, my kids on the other hand look forward to it. Its definitely an experience that they dont forget for days after they go. They love every part of their appointment. When they first get there they get to go to the play room and play with toys and watch movies. When they get their teeth cleaned the staff explains every step of what they are doing and answer any questions that my kids may have. When they are done they always compliment their teeth and how well they did and send them on their were with a goody bag. What kid doesnt like a goody bag? After the dentist examines their teeth she always talks to me one on one and explains how the examination went. She gives me any recommendations that she may have and always asks if I have any questions. I always feel comfortable bringing my kids here to make sure that they always have a beautiful smile. But most importantly, my children feel very comfortable coming here.

AVOID!! -- Moved to the area and made the mistake of picking this dentist. Typical scam dentist. You will never just get your teeth cleaned they will set up consultations and bill for full treatment and come up with something extremely wrong to have you coming back nonstop. I have never had a cavity, brush and floss 2x a day and no teeth problems. They sold me over priced over the counter teeth whitener kit 300% over store price and non-needed mouth wash for $80. When confronted that I will not returning nonstop to fill their pockets for bogus treatments just want my teeth cleaned, both the doctor and hygienist shouted screamed at me and told me I know nothing about my teeth. “Funny I see them and care for them daily” I walked out after the 2nd visit after being there for 5 min, imagine that I get a bill for walking out at full price. IF YOU ENJOY MEAN NASTY PEOPLE AND BEING RIPPED OFF GO HERE, but I am sure there is many more very nice dentists out there who would be glad to have my money with a smile.

Excellent dentist with a wonderful, kind and committed staff. A very professional and comfortable atmosphere from the moment you are greeted upon arrival to when you depart. If more dentists were like Dr. Szakaly, less people would be afraid of them. Patient dental health is paramount and my familys expectations have always been exceeded. My daughter who is 5 hours away attending college had a dental emergency which needed immediate attention/treatment. When I notified Dr. Szakaly she went above and beyond identifying and referring my daughter who was seen and treated that day. Dr. Szakaly reached out and called the local practice and stressed the importance of same day treatment. Without her personal involvement and persistence the outcome would have been much different. She is absolutely the best dentist my family has ever used.

This review is in reference to "Matt Douglas", as this is your second slanderous review. I am the patient care coordinator here at Isle of Wight Family and Cosmetic Dentistry, and just to be clear, the teeth whitening product you purchased with us that day, was something you had asked for because you needed to use the money on your flex spending card. Everyone at our office was nothing but kind to you, even during your violent outburst during your visit with us. During our email conversations, I personally offered to refund your money back to you once I heard of your disatisfaction, so no one has "ripped you off". I hope that this response has cleared up some of the false accusations.

I have been a client of IOW Dentistry for several years now. Dr. Howard and staff are extremely organized, client focused, and excellent communicators. Their communication system with combo of texts, emails, and calls is very modern and very convenient especially for clients with very busy work and family schedules. They have early morning and late evening appointments available as well which is always helpful. I cannot say enough positive comments about the business and everyone that works there. Highly recommend them.
