I was referred to Dr. Tickel recently and I am completely satisfied. I am new to the area, having moved in January from Alexandria, va. I have used chiropractic care since 2003 and have experienced a few different techniques and doctors. Dr. Tickel is accomplishing the same types of adjustments using different techniques that are less severe. He always explains what he is doing and why he is doing it. He welcomes questions and the opportunity to discuss body and mind mechanisms. When I leave after my appointment, my body feels energized. He is very personable, kind and calm, with a great sense of humor. I am happy to say that I have found my new chiropractor in Charlottesville.

When I first arrived at Dr. Tickels office I was bent over like a ?. Shortly after an intensive examination, Dr. Tickel was 100% sure I was going to need decompression, but he wanted to wait until he saw the x-rays. So he performed some chiropractic work and the next day I was standing almost full upright. After my next appointment I was 100% full upright and had no pain. I currently go to the office once and a month for a check up and I would highly recommend this office to everyone I know!
