Im so thankful for the people over at Greenbrier Animal Care Center! My husband and I recently adopted a VERY skittish orange kitty; we named her Nevada. I noticed she was having some ear problems. I called over to GACC after seeing the reviews and Im happy to leave my own 5-star here too. We walked in and were greeted right away. (They also have a cute little Welcome Board and it has the names of all the animals theyll see that day; what a nice touch!) We were taken back and once the staff were able to get a hold of Nevada (she doesnt like to be picked up), they were able to diagnose and treat the problem - she may have had ear mites but it was hard to get a very good sample without her full cooperation. My husband and I felt very comfortable with the staff and knew people who love animals were caring for our new kitty. Also, we even received a postcard in the mail about a week and a half later thanking us for our business, I really appreciate when a business takes time to reach out like that. Weve found the only vet we want to trust to take care of Nevada!

My kitten was pregnant and gave birth to three stillborn kittens. I wasnt sure whether they were dead or alive so, I called them. They said to bring the mama and kitties and theyll make sure free of charge. They also ex rayed her and found another kitten. Who was also stillborn. They did a wonderful job taking care of the mama and even made a clay heart with the kittens paws imprinted in it. These people even worked with me to save me as much as they could and kept in constant contact so i wouldnt worry as much. You can really tell that the doctors and staff truly care.

My 18 month old cat almost died after bringing him here for his rabies and distemper shot. I took him in on a friday and he started showing symptoms that night of an allergic reaction. He had had the shots before with no problem, but this time was a different story. The office was closed and I had to bring him in twice to the emergency vet. They had to give him an IV and put him on pain medication. After a horrible weekend, some antibiotics, and about $1000 spent at the emergency vet, my baby is back to normal. I will not be taking him here ever again.

GACC was able to handle my very anxious and very energetic dog with no problem. The team is extremely professional and willing to go above and beyond to help me and my wife with our Tasha, a 45 pound Pit Mix who is very suspicious of strangers. Other vets in the area would sedate Tasha for her visits, but not GACC! (We will start Tasha with a trainer for better manners) I highly recommend this Animal Care Center to those new to the area, or looking for a new doc for their furry family member.
