I had been dealing with migraines and severe neck pain for over three years. I cant tell you how many doctors I had seen, how many MRIs, how many prescriptions and how many injections I had before I found Doctor Childs. I had seen neurosurgeons, chiropractic, orthopedic doctors, several ER visits and they all said the same. Nothing was wrong with me. I cried and was severely depressed. I went to Doctor Childs and he took a look at my MRI and saw that I did in fact have a disc herniation. He agreed that it wasnt a rush surgery issue but that it was in fact causing my problems. He had me to do some injections to see if it would help and it did temporarily. So surgery was the next option. He takes the time, he listens, and he truly cares...which is few and far between. Im forever grateful to have found him.

Dr Childs performed a fusion surgery on my spine using a "less invasive" method that he was appearantly trying to patent himself. The fusion was unsuccessful and left me in worse pain and reduced mobility. I foolishly neglected to research him before i let him operate on me and found out that he had just settled a malpractice suit for doing the same surgery on someone the previous year. I had to go to John Hopkins to have them open me up again and fix what he did. What he did caused me to lose another year of my life dealing with more pain, medical bills, doctors, insurance companies, loss of income, etc, etc. Thanks for using me as a guinea pig Dr. Childs! There is a special place in hell for people like you.

Amazing surgeon. Have met many who have said nothing but positive things and had wonderful experiences. He was able to assess my injuries and spine and recommend no surgery and a plan to alleviate pain and make me stronger. Fantastic bedside manner.
