Worst experience I have ever had at a urgent care facility. We relocated to the are in May. I had an appointment with a primary care doctor whom I waited a month and a half to get into to see today. However, they messed my appointment up and I could not see my doctor today. I had been working on a fence on my property this week and threw my back out yesterday. I figured I would have taken care of it with my primary but since they botched my appointment up today I needed to see someone. So NextCare was the closest urgent care facility to me. My wife and kid took me there because I cannot even drive I am in so much pain. I saw a doctor Douglas Brown who was as rude as they come and didnt listen to a word I said to him. I told him I think I pinched a nerve and got the response" Who told you you pinched a nerve?" I explained to him that I have nerve problems and a plethora of life long health issues and I know my body better than anyone else because I live in it. He didnt seem to like that answer. He did a fairly routine exam of the area told me he was going to give me some muscle relaxers and heat and walked out. When he came back he handed me some prescriptions of stuff that would do nothing for me. When I tried to explain this to him his answer was "dont get it filled then". I am a married Christian man who came in for a legitimate issue with my wife and child present. After 25 surgeries and health issues over most of my life I think I understand my body better than anyone does considering I reside in it. I was not some drug addict coming off the street panning for pain meds and thats exactly how this doctor made me feel. maybe it was my tattoos and the Fender guitar tshirt, I dont know but your bedside manner is absolutely atrocious sir. Considering I used my Blue Cross Federal as your a provider, I will lodge a formal complaint with Blue Cross as well. To long, didnt read: avoid this place like the plague and go somewhere else. Edit: Further research shows that not only does this doctor work here but for a drug addiction center as well. Did you falsely profile me Dr. Brown?

Frustrating that you cant call them directly. When you call the 540 number you get the call center who cause confusion. I was first told that she or I cannot talk to anyone there to find out wait time or level of care. But apparently via some kind of other program was able to get me connected and so got to find out how many patients are already there and when I should come...Heading there soon and hope I like the care that I urgently need. I changed it to 4 stars, as the visit went well. NO Doctors only PA but they were good and helped me so I am glad. Thanks

Came in with what I thought was strep (as a bug had been going around my office). I was feeling pretty miserable and after the strep test came back negative, the doctor literally told me to "use cough drops" and let it run its course. Been trying to get a hold of someone for the last week for a prescription to get some sort of relief. Nothing. No answer and no calls back. Ive been here in the past years for similar issues (viral infections, etc.) and always had good experiences. Not this time and I wont go back.

I called to ask the wait. I got the call center. Was told I could do a check In over phone but it was an hour and half from when I called. So I waited and when I got there and said it was hour and half wait. Woman at the front desk was very rude. Their system was down and I would have to wait another hour and 15 mins. Yet my name was on the board?? I asked if she called to tell them their system was down. She was rude and repeated "its an hour 15 min wait do you want to be seen?"

My husband went in to have bumps looked at that were spreading. Within 2 seconds of the doctor looking at it he said "hold on I will write you a prescription". When he came back in, he kept the door open and handed him the Rx and started to walk back out. My husband tried to ask how he got it, and if it was contagious and the Doc gave him incredibly short answers and kept walking out the door in a completely rude manner. They were NOT busy and we will NOT be going back.

Nursing staff and doctors are great, however the receptionist/check in lady is another story. Shes extremely unfriendly and rude. She needs a lesson in people skills.

Needed to be seen asap. call center help find the closest office and was taken in as soon as paper work was done. All staff was freindly and did a great job.
