If you are looking for a family doctor look no further because you just found the best. Dr Milani. First let me say that I have never given a review on anybody or anything in my life, but I felt I needed to give this review about Dr. Milani. I am a Operating room scrub nurse as well as a Master Esthetician and have been in the medical field for over 20 years and during that time I have seen the bad and good doctors and Dr. Milani exceeds the good. He is the BEST. He has been my doctor for over six years now. As a person he is so friendly and kind and the minute you meet him he will make you feel so relaxed and he his so easy to talk to. As a doctor he is so knowledgeable about so many things and he REALLY cares about you health. He will help you with any problems you may be experiencing and if there is something that is not within the scope of his practice he will send you to someone that he knows and would go to himself. He is well respected throughout the community and by his peers. Year after year Dr. Milani has been voted the "TOP DOCTOR" in the Northern Virginia and Washington Magazine and not surprisingly again for 2017. Considering how many doctors are out there in the community it is quite a honor to receive this prestigious award and Im proud to say he his my doctor. He has two office location to serve you. One in Fairfax and his new office that opened a few months ago in Vienna/ Tyson area. Dr. Milani takes all kinds of insurance as well as Medicare and Medicaid and if you are like me that does not have insurance his self pay prices are so reasonable you dont have to give up your first born child to pay for you office visit:) Dr. Milani also has a medical day spa that is across the hall from practice that offers facials, microdermabrasion, skin peels, waxing etc.. and laser hair removal . They use and sell IMAGE skin care product and as a esthetician its one of the best skin care products around. The spa is spotless and the girls are so nice. He also offers Botox/Dysport and injectable fillers with prices that are lower then any place around. Do you have some fat on your love handles or abdomen that you just cant get rid of through exercise and your diet ? Well , Dr. Milani just got this new non-invasive body contouring laser machine called SCULPSURE that in 25 minutes with no downtime can help eliminate those stubborn fat areas. Just call the office and they will explain more to you on how it works. The girls at the front desk are so nice and helpful. There are many languages spoken at this office. The front desk is right there in front of the waiting room which I think is nice. No glass window dividing you from the staff and no threatening notes on the window saying DO NOT KNOCK ON THE WINDOW have a seat we know your here. You know those offices the ones Im talking about ....well....you wont find that at Dr. Milani office. You will find just nice ,friendly ,caring people that you can tell that they like their job and are willing to help you. Dr. Henry’s professional statement says it all. Smart, caring, holistic, multilingual, entrepreneurial etc. I am an executive who travels a lot between three states. Because of relocation, I had to find a new physician and because my health is near and dear to me, and the role a physician obviously plays in my health, finding a new physician was an important endeavor. I needed a physician who would take the time to understand me as a person as well as me as a patient. I also needed a physician who would pass my wifes test (a cancer survivor) that included a physician who was attuned to not only western medicine, but would also be knowledgeable and considerate of holistic health and treatment. I spent several hours over several weeks reviewing resumes, asking questions to doctors staff, and obtaining an understanding as to how each physician practiced. Those hours of research really paid off. I have never had such an attentive, thoughtful, compassionate and well-rounded physician in my life. I feel lucky to have found Dr. Henry.

Customer service is completely awful. The last two appointments we have waited 45 min-1.5 hours in the waiting room before even being called back, and I have now left two messages to discuss lab results or get the recommendations for two non normal results, and have yet to receive a call back. The front desk people are useless as they are never able to predict wait time, response time, or even warn you that the doctors are running way behind schedule. One front desk rep literally told me " There is nothing I can do about it". Yes, yes you can, you can be more polite, APOLOGIZE for the inconvenience, and check in with the doctors regarding their schedules. Once you get to see a doctor they are very thorough but the barriers to get there are excruciating. Customer service needs to be a higher priority for this practice.

My family and I have been patient of Dr. Kavian Milani and the Virginia Family Medicine for last 10 years. Dr. Milani is not only a professional physician, he is one of kind who is always looking for various ways to help everyone. Recently I joined to Virginia Family Medicine weight management program. Using proper diet regime, reasonable level of exercise and effective medication with minimum side effects, VFM helped me to loose 20 pounds during last 2 months. Also, using their new laser system for fat removal and body contouring, not it accelerated my weight loss, it helped me to get back to my previous size in 3 weeks. I highly recommend Virginia Family Medicine. Dr. Milani and his associates with the support of multiple expert medical and business assistants are always there to help all with their needs.

NOT organized and never been seen sooner than 50 minutes after my appointment. the nurse Hannah is very sweet and knowledgeable, but terrible customer service and rude front desk. I changed my family doctor and now I realized I have been overcharged many times here for unnecessary tests (B12 and D etc). I think its insane that for my test results I had to make another appointment and pay another co-pay only to get my results! Doctors dont charge me, nor my wife and my dad, for the test results at INOVA. over all after a few years of being their patient, we decided to change our family doctor and now our doctor visits have become happy events :-D

Busy place, went for a simple physical examination for immigration purpose, doctor Kavian saw us on the first and second visits, then sent us to X-rays, came back on the third visit for just a signature on the forms which we spent less than 2 minutes with Doctor Farideh this time. Before we left, we paid everything out of pocket, but later more bills came in the mail. Called and went back to the offices more than once, was told by the office to ignore the bills, but last phone call indicated we had to pay. Total $543 paid. Very unhappy experience and definitely will not repeat. Very friendly front desk, two stars to whoever is in charge of billing.
