Ive had Kaiser for two years. Overall, I have been very pleased with the service that Ive received. I like all of the doctors that I have seen, and since I had a baby during this time, I have been there a lot. My OB/GYN (Dr. Asante) and my kids pediatrician (Dr. Henry) are both great. I love being able to send electronic messages and get tests results on the app. Its very convenient, and I have a bit of a phone phobia. Anything that I can do that doesnt involve me having to talk to anybody on the phone is A-Okay in my book. Not to mention, if the doctors advice is in writing, I can refer back to it rather than simply rely on my memory. The only thing that I dont like about Kaiser is that I have to travel for anything requiring a specialist. If I need my appointment within a certain time-frame, I might have to travel really far. For example, I needed an ultrasound of my daughters hip and there was no appointment available within the ideal time period in Tysons Corner (all ready too far), so I ended up taking her to Gaithersburg, MD. It was worth it to me to travel for a timely appointment, but I couldnt do that regularly. I think that Kaiser is great for someone with basic needs, but I would not recommend it for someone who needs to see a specialist regularly. Im giving Kaiser Fredericksburg 4 stars because every experience Ive had there has been great; it would be 5 stars if there was the opportunity to see specialists more locally.

AWFUL! This network pushes the use of non-direct communication channels (email, messages, etc.) and does not respond. They have 24 hours to address your patient needs and at least acknowledge your concerns, however Ive never been provided any assistance. When I filed a formal complaint the HR staff tried to redirect me to utilize the online requests despite the fact that this was the issue in the first place. We came to the conclusion to make verbal contact with a nurse or leave a voicemail and now I have not heard from them at all. I guess Im paying for the lowest quality product on the Health Care market. Also, doctors do not listen to the patients and push you out of the door before your appointment is even over. One of my appointments was less than 10 minutes and they prescribed me with medication I was already taking (i.e. Motrin) They provide you with Google print offs and Youtube videos instead or providing you with a referral for a specialist to get the care you require. And it is rude for the "owner" to only respond to the 4 and 5 star comments. If you truly had a concern for our patient care, you would follow up on our patient care complaints that have been filed and contact us in this forum (publicly), or directly (privately), to resolve these blatant disregards for patient care and respect. DO YOUR RESEARCH: CHECK THE LEGITIMACY OF THE PRACTICES, AND THEIR RATINGS BEFORE YOU GET COMMITTED TO A POLICY.

Avoid these guys at all cost. Pay 2 or 3 times for your insurance If you actually want quality health care. I go to the er and have a kidney stone I cant pass. Instructed by the er to follow up with a urologists. Well they say you need to see the primary doctor. Why? Whats he gonna do, the hospital said I need to pass this stone. Also psychiatrist you have to drive to burke for. Im not crazy but have had multiple deaths Ive dealt with and they could give 2 cents about. Avoid avoid avoid

Always quick and the people are always courteous! I dont know why there is even bad reviews on here. I have had Kiaser for three years and have always had outstanding services! Only down side is having to travel to Springfield or woodbridge but even that is okay to me because Springfield also had an excellent hospital Especially since all I had know before was Mary Washington and Stafford hospital.

I have had one visit to see the nurse and get a shot. I was very pleased. It is a very clean, professional environment. The building was hidden from view (taking Care Way from the round about, follow the arc until almost the end); turn left at the Kaiser Permanente sign and the building is over the hill to the right. Family practice is on the second floor.

Dislike how I have to go to the Woodbridge location if I need to be seen on the weekends. Edit: Upon calling the operator to see if my doctor received my CT scan results I was either transferred to I have no clue where or she just hung up. Absolutely disgusted because of the conditions Im experiencing it should be information that I receive right away.

Total disaster every minute dealing with this place. Long waits, miserably slow or refusal to deal with medical documentation for employer purposes (I got fired because of it, thanks,) and being judgmental/rude over issues before you can get two words in edgewise. Dont waste your time or money.

Youd be better served travelling to Woodbridge. The hours at the Fredericksburg Center are short. The lab is closed on weekends. My doctor has been AT LEAST 45 minutes behind for each of my appointments, no matter if they are made for the morning or afternoon. Its quite frustrating.

I have been very happy with Kaiser and would recommend them highly. Although there are times I have had to go to other facilities for certain testing and procedures, I really like all the doctors and nurses I have dealt with and feel their care is top notch.

Outstanding! I had a OBGYN appointment with Dr. Tate and I LOVE her. No one really likes to go to the OBGYN but she is wonderful. She is very knowledgeable, patient, and truly cares about her patients. Her nurse, Tanika, was wonderful as well.
