Be ware of this place. It was a nightmare to come here. The hygienist and staff has little or no experience. They also changed my dentist without notice. The X-ray and cleaning experiences were awful. When I was doing the filings, the dentist helper handed in the wrong materials in the procedure. The hygienist would recommend you deep cleaning that were not covered by insurance. The last time I went there, the hygienist went to vacation without notice. A substitute hygienist put on sealants on my teeth without any communication. After she put the sealants, I felt like sand between teeth. I could not bite on one side. she took half an hour to scratch off. After her treatment, my teeth were sensitive to temperature and sour food. She said I had signed a treatment plan which I was not aware of. They charge really really high too.

Yesterday was my first trip to Family Dentistry of Short Pump. The customer service was great, my wait time was short. My hygienist, Shauna did a great job cleaning my teeth. Dr. Popat was very nice and actually took the time to explain my treatment. Im usually nervous about going to the dentist, but I have another appointment scheduled for next week with no worries. They made me very comfortable. Their new hours are also great for my schedule.

This practice is great! The doctors here are wonderful and patient, as they demonstarted with my toddler son. Both he and I attend this practice for our dentistry needs and annual checkups. The staff is very eager to assist you with having the most pleasurable experience that can be provided! I would recommend them hands-down anytime!

Theyll empty your pockets on work you dont need done - always get a second opinion! Especially on children. We moved dentist and a year later location, they know this and continue to this day to book appointments out of the blue! I hope they dont try billing us for those too out of their own ridiculous and tenacious harassment.

Dr. Popat is amazing! I am so glad he is now a part of Family Dentistry in Short Pump and I am looking forward to my next visit in a couple of weeks! He puts you at ease and is very knowledgeable. I recommend him to all of my family and friends!

They took me in the same day for a broken tooth and fixed me with a crown. He did a great job. One of the few dentists that stay open til 7 and are open on Saturday. Great for working families. Highly recommend.

Had a terrible Invisalign experience. Staff lacks basic professionalism. My trays were not ordered on time. I showed up for my appointment only to find out I will be wearing my old trays for another two weeks.

Great experience on a not so fun procedure. The dentist and staff were amazing and made me feel so comfortable. After the procedure the dentist even called me to make sure I was okay. Great find!

They will empty patient pockets. Lot of hidden changes will come to know when bill comes to you. I will not recommend this facility.
