Dr. Marcus is the most personable orthodontic professional Ive yet to experience! I thought my orthodontist in Raleigh NC was the best yet, Dr. Marcus just scored beyond expectations. Relocating can be daunting in finding health and other professionals. Reviews for VA Family Dentistry were excellent in general and the Staples Mills location lived up to those reviews. It was Dr. Voth, my periodontist at Staples Mills location, who referred me to Dr. Marcus. The matched couldnt have better! Dr. Marcus and his wonderful staff are trustworthy, knowledgable, explain well the next steps in your orthodontic care. and will only recommend what you need. More importantly his team try to fit the right plan for your finances without making you feel uncomfortable. He wont sell you what you dont need! He is warm, funny and even recommended a great restaurant! For this older baby boomer, he is nice on the eyes too! His staff is the same and its sincere! I am very pleased with my plan of care! Thank you Dr. Marcus & team for being great at what you do!!

I had my first visit with Dr. Cattoggio. The staff were very friendly and pleasant. I really appreciate docs honesty. I went to another dentist last year that recommended major dental work that would cost thousands of dollars. I was told that I had two cavities that needed to be addressed correctly. He also saw my son, and referred him out to someone more experienced with his type of problem. I feel that you will find out what you actually need, and if they can help you when you go here. It was a great experience and a pleasant change.

My 15-year old daughter had all 4 wisdom teeth extracted by Dr. Neil Turnage and his assistant, Christy. It was a great experience for her! Our family has been with Baxter Perkinson & Associates for years - usually go to Atlee (which we love!), but we come to this office for any dental procedures because we love Dr. Turnage so much and started with him when he was at the Atlee location! He is kind, caring and very easy going and puts us at ease. He and Christy make a great team. Thank you for being wonderful!

I cant express how truly lovely all the people here are. When I showed up there the first time I was nervous just like any rational person at a new dentist would be like, but they took me in, made me laugh, took excellent care of me. The dentist is super nice, the assistants are sweet, and then the ladies at the desk make the finance part not so bad, they are delightful, and answer any questions you ask. They set up next appointments, and are just kind. I really am so glad that I picked this office.

Lindsay K. was literally the best hygienist I ever had in my entire life. She was able to scrap up a filling debris from a tooth that other dentists would not touch because they were afraid to break my tooth (recommended surgery) These are "dentists" that told me that and she was a hygienist that did it and I didnt even notice until I left. She worked very hard and has only been practicing for two years but you would not be able to tell. Please ask for her as your hygienist! She is very funny too!

Did such a terrific job with an extraction I had to have 3/16/17. I know dentists are consistently under pressure to fit everyone in the times scheduled, but this team makes you feel like youre the only person theyre treating in the office, when youre in that chair. Also their attention to detail, even down to going through step by step after care (without me asking), was truly a cut above what Ive been used to with other dentists!

Just moved here from out of state, and my son had a problem. Not an emergency, but an urgent care situation. They were very nice and helpful and scheduled him in the following morning for an exam. Treatment options were discussed thoroughly and they were able to complete treatment with an afternoon appointment that same day. Great service, friendly professional staff, wonderful all around. Highly recommend.

VA Family Dentistry does a fantastic job of sticking to schedule. I feel like that is such a rare thing in medical or dental professions these days. If your appointment is at 3:40 -you can assume youll be called back soon after that. I also feel like the staff is extremely helpful and friendly. Im really pleased with the service we get and recommend them to anyone looking for a family dentist!

I have been going to DR. Baxter Perkinson & Associates since I moved to the Richmond area over 15 years ago. Dr. "Neil" Turnage is the only person on earth that I will allow to go near my teeth with a drill or needle. I have been treated extremely well by everyone in the office. They care about you, not just making money. I will and have recommended them to anyone who asks!
