Our daughter was sick for months. We went to numerous doctors, neurologists, and even in and out of 2 very highly acclaimed hospitals with no results. Even though there were so many test done, nobody was able to figure out what was happening to our daughter and why she was not able to think or get out of bed. We were devastated until we finally took her to Dr. D, who spent a lot of time with us. Amazingly, she was able to figure out what was going on with our daughter and then treat her. My daughter began to recover on a treatment plan that the doctor created on her own. My daughter is fully recovering and thriving and all thanks to this doctor. We knew she doesnt take but one insurance plan, but she was so worth it. If you have something wrong with you, this doctor will figure it out.

A great doctor. My wife and I are amazed with what she has done for our family. She may not be on time, but I have learn over the years that she is the "go to" doctor when others cant figure out what is wrong; therefore, instead of shoveling people to some specialist, she is busy figuring out what is wrong with people. I guess it is too hard for her staff to know how long to schedule each person... Dr. DeRusso is brilliant and will figure out what is wrong with the patient and sometimes it take time. My wife started seeing her first, but when my doctor and a few specialist couldnt figure out what was wrong with me; my wife made me go to her. Best decision ever. Highly recommend. The least I can do is write her a few reviews.

If I could rate this office one star I would. I went to this doctor for an annual physical and she didnt get a urine sample, didnt do a breast exam or pap (which she advertises as included on her website), and only checked my blood for liver and kidney. Then she charged me $440, not including the lab fees, another $120. I have medical emergency only insurance, so I had to pay all out of pocket (which she knew and we discussed). She charged me top dollar and I didnt even get a full physical. Almost every year for the past eight years, I have gotten a full physical with a charge of $199 and that included blood work and lab fee. Unfortunately I had to move and find a new doctor. I made a big mistake choosing this one.

This doctor and her office is actually almost a fun experience. Even though I sometimes have to wait they are all very apologetic. I like coming to her because she is very good and thinks like I do. She tries to eliminate or minimize medicine if she can. She is quick thinking, and great at explaining things and I can always trust her opinion. Plus, I really like her sense of humor. She is great at remembering everything about my medical history and always keeping up with reminding me of what I need to do to stay healthy. Definitely one of the most comfortable doctors and staff that I have ever been around.

Dont make a mistake of even going to her office for just seeing the office. The office assistant is a very rude and nasty person.Both Dr and her assistant are prejudice and discriminate you on the basis of your skin color and religious affiliation. I am filing a complaint about this MD with the Virginia Medical Board.This Dr is at the height of rudness.She even dont care about the people from the same profession.If you want to mess your day and your mood along with your health, you should visit this Dr otherwise stay away from her. She is after money and for just one dollar she will get nasty.

I am so grateful that Dr. DeRusso was recommended to me! Finally a Doctor that listens! After an out of town visit to an ER and subsequently an urgent care facility, I was left with an infected wound and and an allergic reaction to the medication prescribed. I didnt receive decent care until I was able to get back to Dr. DeRussos office where she was able to get everything under control! I appreciate that she looks after my overall health and doesnt let me slide on the things I can do to improve my health!

I have been going to my alternative homeopathy doctor and several other specialists for years. When I found Dr. DeRusso I finally began feeling like myself again. She was able to treat my illness and especially my thyroid problem and I finally felt alive again. I lost the weight I couldnt lose, got my energy back, was able to focus and "think" again, and my body stopped hurting everywhere! It was amazing. Thank you Dr. D for thinking outside the box, I have my life back again!

I was not feeling well for a very long time. I had been to so many doctors who just never took the time to talk to me and examine me. I was finally referred to Dr. DeRusso by a co-worker who spoke very positive about her. After the first visit, she began the needed testing to figure out what was going on with me. I have talked to many others patients and apparently she is really good as solving complex problems that are not solved by other doctors. For me personally, Dr. DeRusso identified some major health problems that others missed. I know that she provides outstanding care. I pay her as an out of network physician as she doesnt take my insurance, but worth it in my opinion. . I could not be happier with everything.

Dr. D has been my Internist for about 13 years and has been a wonderful doctor. She actually believes me when I tell her something. She knows that I know my body and works with me based upon my symptones, along with her own medical expertice. I appreciate a doctor who has trust in ME, the patient in knowing my own body. Great doctor. Great personality, easy to talk to; staff is very accomadating. She does tend to run behind a little but that is because she is busy with a large following of patients. Im not even sure I would go to a doctor who wasnt in such high demand. She is the best doctor around.
