I came to Dr. Liningers office with an inflamed nerve which felt like a VERY, VERY painful spot in my right hip/cheek. It was so bad I couldnt stand upright or walk without causing unbearable pain, sometimes radiating down my right leg. He saw me immediately and within the first visit diagnosed it as a narrowed disc causing a pinched nerve between vertebrae L5+S1. Sounded like it required surgery to me, but he assured me that his office could correct the problem without having to undergo surgery. Since my husband had just had back surgery and I knew that had taken him 3 months to get approved by insurance and he was currently undergoing 3 months of recovery, I did NOT want to start the process. Later the same day of my visit with Dr. Lininger I signed up to undergo treatment with him AND got my first treatment. It provided a little relief, and lots of encouragement. It was at the start of a long weekend, so it was a very quiet and painful weekend. What I learned from the weekend of rest was that just resting it as some people had advised, only gave me momentary relief at best during the day and sleepless nights struggling to find some position that didnt aggravate the nerve. Skip ahead to my 8th treatment at Manassas Chiropractic and Rehab and I not only can walk again, but I can sleep through the night as well! I am not cured yet. There are at least 12 more treatments to go to keep my disc spaces open. This will prevent other nerves from being pinched, correct my more minor back complaints and increase blood flow throughout my body. Pills and surgery never would have done any of that. I do need to tell you that I couldnt have gotten this far without prescription pain medication that I was able to get thanks to my primary care doctor (Urgent Care and other clinics will also provide them with a note from Dr. Lininger). Even with the pain medication, this has been a struggle and the meds come with side effects like constipation, stomach upset plus I had to have family and friends drive me around. I was able to stop all the stronger meds after my 6th treatment. Im back to just an occasional Tylenol and Ibuprofen. All the staff-Steve, Yenny, and Claudia are VERY supportive and encouraging. Each treatment calms the pain or eliminates it and then the body feels positive changes over the next 24+ hours. I am ever so grateful to this staff and their skills! Thank you Manassas Chiropractic and Rehab!

Lair!!! Went to see Dr. Steve Lininger on 2014 for a simple pain on my back. The front desk people tried to convince me to file a claim for Workers Compensation, because I became ill while a was working. I refused to file this claim because I believe it is a really complicated process. Dr. Steve Lininger came and offered me this: He said "if you paid your insurance deductible which is $25, we will take your insurance information and if this is not covered, no worries you dont have to pay us for the uncovered part." Of course this information WAS NOT TRUE. After a year I received this service (check up and x ray) I got a bill of $ 269.02 minus the copay of $25 which came to a total of $244.02. This because after about a year I found out my insurance did not work with this Doctor. Why didnt they tell me that in the first place?. Now they have been sending me letters threatening me for a DELINQUENT ACCOUNT BALANCE!!!! . My question is WHO IS THE DELINQUENT HERE???? First he lied to me, and then he tricked me! Steve Lininger real doctors try to help people not to screw on them. This is my experience I would not recommend anybody to go to this Place Manassas Chiropractic or see Dr Steve Lininger, honest people it is hard to find but not impossible and Dr. Steve Lininger and Co-Workers are not a group that you can trust. I just want to be the voice of many people that possible happen the same and this way you can possible find another place where you can truly trust from the begging all the way to the end of your treatment. Thanks!

Dr. Lininger is an excellent chiropractor. I had had the back pain on and off for almost ten years. I had seen another chiropractic doctor three or four years ago. That other doctor, without taking an X-ray or doing any diagnostic tests, determined that the pain was caused by muscle problems and he treated me accordingly. There had been very little improvement after more than a month, so I quit. In March 2014, my back pain got worse, for a day or two I almost felt paralyzed. I got scared, but my first thought was I wanted to avoid surgery if I could. So I searched for a Chiropractor and found Dr. Lininger. On my first visit, Dr. Lininger did a comprehensive set of tests and took a series of X-Ray and told me I had some degeneration in my spinal cord. I felt that his decision was based on test results and facts, so I decided to take the treatment he suggested. After three sessions, I was already feeling better and after the first round and Dr. Lininger said I was ready for what he called the "fixes". He performed his magic "fixes", even though I was a little scared to hear some clicks in my bones, I have felt marked improvement since then. In fact, I have never felt so well in 10 years. I told everyone I know that I now feel my bones are in their right places. Dr. Lininger is very friendly and manages his time well, I never had to waste any time during my visit. I would recommend Dr. Lininger to anyone who need help like I did.

Wow, where to begin... I have been to chiropractors for many years with varying degrees of success; however, when I started having shooting pain in my lower back and legs no amount of treatment seemed to help. I was facing surgery and desperate at this point when a friend referred me to Dr. Lininger. I was impressed immediately by his positive attitude and diagnosis and started treatment. I began feeling a little better for awhile, but what nobody knew (even my top notch surgeon) was that I had a spur growing into my spine, and even the good Drs treatment could not fix this condition. So I underwent surgery and the pain was gone! I felt great for awhile, but then started having issues again, so I came back to Dr. Lininger and picked up where Id left off. I am now feeling great and because of Dr. Steve and his friendly, caring staff I enjoy my back treatments and he has even helped my Carpel Tunnel Syndrome! I tell ya - whatever ails you, go for a consultation with the doc and see for yourself! They have all kinds of treatments and equipment that I have never seen at another chiropractors office!!! Thanks again doc! Robin Hysmith

AVOID THIS GUY LIKE THE PLAQUE!! During my original phone call I was assured that my insurance would be accepted. I went in for the initial consultation, was sold some X-rays, and then was told to return 4 days later for the results and to begin my treatment plan. Upon my return, I waited 45 minutes before this quack honored my appointment. He spent 10 minutes explaining how easy it would be to cure my pain but unfortunately, he couldnt accept my insurance, which happens to be from one of the largest providers in the country. After spending $150 on X-rays and waiting 4 days, I now have to start over. Im still in pain. During my initial visit, I was there for 90 minutes, my insurance card was copied and added to my file but non one bothered to disclose something as simple as: "We dont accept HMOs". Shame on me for not asking enough questions up front but shame on this jerk for being a scam artist. I can provide kudos to him for one aspect of the service: he did a great job of training his employees to lie and cheat. AVOID THIS PRACTICE AT ALL COST! SCAM ARTIST AND QUACK ALERT!
