I cant begin to tell you how much I love Eastern Shore Animal Hospital. Let me back up. The Eastern Shore Animal Hospital is the furthest away from where I live. I have tried all the vets nearest me. One diagnosed one dog as having cancer and said we needed to make arrangements to put her down - this was about five or six years ago and she never did have cancer because it was confirmed by another vet. One vet told me my other dog must have gotten into rat poisoning because he was bleeding out of his nose. The dog lives inside and when I take him out to do his thing hes on a leash and I know where I take him there is absolutely no rat poisoning. We gave him a Benadryl on our own and guess what the nose stopped bleeding - turns out he gets allergies in allergy season. I could go on and on. I finally decided to try Eastern Shore Animal Hospital and Ill tell you this much - I will never take any of my dogs to any other vets - they have been right on the money every time. I know its a lot of hit and miss when diagnosing people so the same can be said with pets but this establishment is the most knowledgeable and they truly make you feel as if they love your pet. I do want to say something about the girls behind the desk. I dont know why they arent vets themselves because every time I have asked them a question, they knew what to say. They deserve raises. And the doctors and the staff assisting them - love them - and I would never ever go anywhere else to get my dogs treated.

Dr. Cameron is one of the best veterinarians Ive ever visited; and I have had pets in Florida, Colorado, and Virginia. Dr. Cameron listened, asked questions, discussed outcomes, and was a great blessing when my beloved Chincoteague cat developed severe kidney problems at the age of 18. He is superb in his caring about the pets and about humanity, and the owners feelings - and he is the best veterinarian the Chincoteague ponies have ever had!

The folks here are friendly, caring and knowledgeable. We have been going to ESAH since 1998 and are very happy with the services they have provided us. We had to have two dogs put to sleep due to old age issues and they could not have been more empathetic or caring. I would recommend them to anyone any day!

I have taken my 4 pets exclusively to the Eastern Shore Animal hospital since they were puppies and kittens. The prices are fair and the staff is so personable. I would recommend them to anyone who is looking for the best possible care for their pets on the Eastern Shore of Virginia.

We have taken our animals to the ESAH for years. Drs Cameron and their staff are always helpful and friendly. Whether you are there for a regular checkup or a major event, they take as much time as you need and never rush you. I wouldnt carry my babies anywhere else!!

I love this place I know that if for any reason I may not be able to get back to pick my Dowjo up after leaving him there for a visit before they close I know hes in great hands, hes feed and caged inside for a small fee until the next day!
