Scheduled an appt. for biopsy of prostate with this Dr. I STRESSED my anxiety and got the same canned response that "everyone is like this" to which i had to emphasize that i am NOT everybody but worse. He gave me a Valium to take 1 hour before procedure, which I did. I arrived at the office ON TIME, but was made to wait for over an hour before I was seen. Once I was seen, i expressed my frustration that the meds had worn off and they bumped me an hour after they were supposed to. I was first told, they were getting a room ready, but then the Dr. himself came at me with anger and attitude. He told me the patient before me had an emergency that he had to tend to. Although the office is full of multiple doctors, only HE could remedy the situation?? I said I wanted to reschedule. The nurse had told me that there was an opening later the same day at 1. I said that is fine. When I told the doctor, his response was: "You are NOT being seen today at 1". I then asked if I would be getting my co-pay back. He said yes; " what do you think we are all about the money"? is what he said. IN addition, i was supposed to be given antibiotics to take BEFORE the procedure, but was NEVER given any. When I told the Dr. this, he insisted he gave me a prescription for them. I reminded him that he did give me a prescription, but only for the valium. HE just blew it off like i was lying or something. when I went to reschedule, they made the appt. for late in the afternoon. I asked if there was an early morning appt. the nurse opened the appt. book, looked at me and said: "do you see any other openings that day??" Then, I asked bout my co-pay and getting it back. I was told it would be credited to my account. I said that is NOT good enough that I did not trust they would do that. I was asked if i wanted to speak to the office manager. I said I just want my co-pay back. then, some woman screamed across the office: "just give him back his money, he paid cash anyway" So, i got my money after all. That was it. I am done with this entire office. The Doctor has NO sympathy/empathy, nor bedside manner. The office personnel are no better. They all want to sit back and make their millions while we, the little people, suffer at their expense.

Terrible experience, the front desk lady was very rude and so was the Dr. After waiting an hour in the waiting room, saw the Dr. for literally 4 minutes. He rushed through, not answering my questions thoroughly. He never looked at me or anything. Pregnant at the time, I called back with a question. Instead of speaking with the Dr. over the phone, the nurse urged me to make another appointment. When going into see Dr. Kagey for the second visit, same thing happened 4 minutes of his time was wasted without even looking at me. I was told his nurse over reacted since she was pregnant at the time too, that I didnt need to be seen. Once I finally get a bill, at no surprise I am charged for both visits. I contacted their office 4 times trying to get the lady in charge of billing, since apparently no one else in the office can read their billing statements. She never contacted me back, instead Dr. Kagey did. He asked what the problem was, I advised I just wanted my balance broken down. I also mentioned it wasnt fair to charge me for the second visit, when he himself told me the nurse did not need to make that appointment. He then gets angry tells me he will not chase me down for payment, just dont pay for my second visit. I am still appalled, of how rude he was and would never recommend this practice.

Dr. Kagey understands what needs to be addressed and will answer all your questions so you both can be on the same page. He is professional, focused, and understanding what needs to be done and when. Then he needs to go to the next person.

Dr. Kagey is arrogant and uncaring. He treats people like they are stupid and their questions dont matter. He cares not one bit for the patient. It was like we were imposing on the man. I recommend finding someone else for your medical CARE.

He is a busy man. He took the time he needed to learn about my problem. Excellent surgery, recovery and follow up visit. Very satisfied.
