I am sorry to say I cannot recommend going to MUSC or seeing any of their doctors for care. I cant go into too much detail bc I still work there but I will say this is a teaching hospital . . . you get care from med students that dont know what theyre doing. They miss things a more experienced doctor would catch. Ive submitted patient complaints before . . . never got a answer. Ive seen several MUSC doctors and have been disappointed allmost every time. They are only good for things like a cold, if you have a more complex issue, like thyroid issues or chronic pain, they will not be able to help you.

Dr.White is a rock star! His experienced medical guidance and well performed surgery help improve our childs quality of life. I dont care what it costs. Totally worth every penny. The nurses and staff are incredible to work with. We are huge local fans. The overall medical knowledge and combined experience is light years ahead of the minute clinics that over prescribe without looking deeper around town. They only place we will take our children. Highly recommend!

I had major surgery performed by Dr. Kalhorn. He and his team did an amazing job & I will be forever thankful for them. Dr. Lindhorst and Dr. Cooper were also a part of my team and I cannot say enough positive things about this team. I would recommend MUSC to anyone.
