Went for a cleaning & wisdom teeth evaluation, left crying and never wanting to go back. After letting her know my teeth are very sensitive and i get really nervous with sharp tools poking at my teeth etc.They are not gentle AT ALL with people that have severe anxiety and or trauma from dentists. The lady who started cleaning my teeth and took xrays had an attitude from the beginning. Everytime i moved- because she was being so rough- she would sigh in my face. As if i was bothering her. Then, finally told me that morally she has to stop because i could sue her for stabbing me- stabbed me anyways. Wouldnt reccomend to ANYONE.

This place is HORRIBLE (CHESAPEAKE OFFICE). Initally I didnt have any issues and I was pleased..so I continued to go whenever I needed something done...but the staff is a nice nasty esp at the Chesapeake office..I cant be in there long because I get annoyed quickly..ABSOLUTELY HATE THAT OFFICE..but for both offices every time you make an appointment they make you wait forever to be seen only to tell u u have have to book another appointment to get whatever work done...A COMPLETE WASTE OF GAWD DAMN TIME..IT IS ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE! I need to find another dentist IMMEDIATELY.

I am terrified of the dentist however i am beyond pleased with the service i received at the va beach office from the office staff to the dentist and assistants were so sweet very nice and professional i highly recommend this office. I would like to add Amy that works at the front desk went above any beyond to help me in any way possible and even got me in as early as possible for a sedation appointment to get me out of pain.

Having alot of work done and the team at Advanced is always friendly. You can get most things done pretty quickly, just need to stay on top of your treatment plan and costs from insurance. This is a busy dentist so you may need to call several times to get questions that were asked at your appointment answered. As stated they are always friendly but just dont seem to always return your calls.

Advanced sedation dentistry is wonderful. Everyone is very nice and I have been afraid of the dentist my whole life, which is why my teeth are so bad, but after my first cleaning and second I started to relax completely. I went in for a crown and what felt like 15 minutes later was actually 3 hours. I would definitely recommend them.

It took over 4 months to get the billing straightened out with my sons anesthesia. Its now been six months and they want the money for the anesthesia up front so they dont have to go through the same building nightmare as before. Thats not my problem. Thats between the billing department and the insurance company.

I love this place. They were great with my daughters wisdom teeth removal. She is 13 and was so scared and they explained the procedure and calmed her down and took great care of her. The staff was incredible, kind, and compassionate.
