I recently moved to the area and was in need of a new doctor. Unfortunately, she did not work out at all. I wanted to continue the same treatments as my previous doctor had prescribed but apparently that was beyond her expertise. She wanted to subject me to verious testings that were not covered by my insurance. She set me up for the tests but due to insurance not covering it my appointment was cancelled. I also had a copay which I had never had before at my previous doctors office and I disputed the fact that they charged me so they again cancelled on me. I had reset up an appointment with her because I do need refills on my prescriptions but was unable to make it due to work so I had to cancel. She dismissed me as a patient. She is money hungry and impossible to work with.

Dr Burkey is my pcp and I would recommend her to anyone. I think most of her patients are older... I am the only person under 60 I have ever seen there. She is a compassionate, thoughtful doctor who really listens. She also keeps digital records so it is really organized and easy to move on to my next physician.

Fantastic physician. Takes her time and really listens to patients. Is available by phone. Great staff.
