FUCK YOU
Dr. Jacobson and his staff are bold faced liars and lure you into their so-called pain mgmt. program under false pretenses. DID I MENTION THEY ARE LIARS?????? After a violent work injury, 13 operations and severe nerve and orthopedic issues and after being evaluated by several pain mgmt. doctors I sought out Dr. Jacobsons clinic after one of my past clinics closed and another doctor I was seeing for the same issues moved to Hawaii. I was told to see Dr. Jacobson, I had to have a referral from a Multicare physician. So, I had to fire my long standing primary care provider and establish care with a Multicare PCP. That took 4 months and I recd the referral I needed. All the while, I had been promised by Dr. Jacobsons nurse and some nutcase named Angela, (the worst medical receptionist that ever crawled from under a fat sweaty rock) that this clinic offered long term medical based treatment and "NO" psychotherapy related interventions such as "Mindfulness" of which I have worked with other doctors too little success for 5+ years. After the referral, I waited 2 months to get my intake paperwork, 3 months to get on the waitlist and then another two months to see the doctor!!!!!!!!!!!! DID I MENTION THEY ARE LIARS?????? After all that time I walked into the office and was immediately shoved "Mindfullness" down my throat. I had to listen to a pathetic sales pitch by Dr. Jacobson and barely had a chance to talk. He was like a used car salesman. "He wanted to walk with me, side-by-side, down the path of pain!!!! I was lied too, scammed and had 9 months of my life wasted. Upon arriving home I reestablished care with my past PCP I had fired and will "NEVER" set foot in another Multicare clinic. Lying doctors and lying staff make for bad medicine.

Not very happy so far with these guys. I called the day before to set up an appointment. The earliest they had for a new patient was September 2nd (which is to be expected). The lady said she would try to get me in sooner if there was any cancelations, and would call to let me know. I missed two calls this morning (had a lot going on this morning) about a 1:30pm appointment. I called right back after the second call (9am) to confirm the 1:30pm appointment for today. Well, about an hour later I missed another call that said since I didnt call back to confirm for 1:30pm that appointment has been canceled and now I have to wait until Sept 2nd. Of course I will call back to see if there are any cancellations but SERIOUSLY?! I called right back, explained EVERYTHING to the woman who answered and she said that my appointment was confirmed for 1:30pm at 9am when I called right back. Where is the communication? Call notes? Anything? Seriously?! I can appericiate the fact that this person has been working to get me in but its all in vain if a better system isnt put in place. Thats so unfortunate. I hope to update my review after I have been seen and hope to make it 5 stars but right now Im beyond frustrated. I moved things around, found transportation and everything for this 1:30pm appointment that I DID CALL BACK to confirm, now we wait until another day..... it may sound silly but I have been sick and need a primary care doctor since we moved here a couple months ago. My first run in concerned insurance with these guys and whoever I talked to was so RUDE! I still decided to make an appointment a few days later though, but man I hope things go better once I am actually there, sheesh!

The emergency room at Covington Multicare is useless and crooked. In April I took my 9 year old there at the urging of Indigo Urgent Care telling me that she needed an x-ray. Something was very wrong with her belly. It was distended, taught, and painful to the lightest touch. The ER doctor on staff had us there 3 hours and in that time only took a urine test that came up clean. No x-ray was taken. I was sent home with a child in pain and told "We dont know what is wrong. Bring her back if it doesnt stop." I was treated like an overreacting, hypochondriac mother. For that I was sent a $700 out of pocket bill. Within the next few days we ended up at childrens hospital for 2 days and incurred expenses that could have been avoided had a doctor at covington ER simply taken an x-ray as recommended by urgent care.

Used to recommend Multicare urgent care, not anymore! My daughter came in with excruciating pain, they took about hour just to triage her and when they finally took her to a room to get checked we sat there for another hour and no one came to even see how she was doing!! She finally started to feel better we ended up walking out of the clinic and they didnt even notice! I gave her file to the receptionist and let her know we were leaving. Terrible care! The nurse that triage her looked tired and he seemed like the only one to be doing something. Im glad my daughter didnt have anything more serious, but definitely going to a different urgent care in the future! So disappointed!

We were given the absolute best care for our little five year old. The staff was thoughtful and thorough. They were patient and kept a careful watch on our daughter as they prepared her to be transferred to a childrens hospital. The Childrens hospital was appreciative of Covingtons record keeping, testing and information that allowed them to access and make decisions quickly. Overall exceptional experience from triage, to time of transfer.

The providers at urgent care & ER were great. Friendly & caring. On the other hand, one of the ladys working the front desk at urgent care was not so friendly. We were the first ones who showed up to urgent care at 7:30am. She started taking down names for check in but started with the people who came after us even though they told her that we came before them. Priority is obviously not important to her.

Went here for gut issues and it took 4 hours of waiting in urgent care before they transferred me into ER because they were shutting. Only to spend another 4 in ER waiting room. Another time took my sick 2 year old in and it cost 2500 for ibuprofen and a popsicle. Run

Go to Urgent Care at your own risk. They now push you from urgent care into their Emergency Room for non-emergencies. They then charge you for visits to both the Urgent Care and Emergency Room. Other options in the area. Go there instead.

Most of these reviews are fake. But that shouldnt be a surprize. My parents went there with my dad having severe back pain and nobody did **** for 6, thats SIX hours at the end of which they recomended ibuprofen. Such institutions are criminal

If you or your loved one are in pain, they wont do anything for you here besides recommend ibuprofen. What a joke of a hospital. Trust me when I say dont trust them with your well-being.
