my father brought in his cat with a problem that he had had before the doctor examined the cat and told my dad that in order to do the procedure that would save his life they would want 400 dollars down my dad pleaded with them to allow him to make payments in order to save his cat they told him they needed it up front and sent him home with antibiotics which my father explained to them that he was not able to hold the cat down to give him the pills and the liquid and then he was by himself and had no one to help him but he took the cat home anyway the cat died 22 hours later because they would not do the procedure that would save his life or take payments when my dad went back to pay the rest of the bill he explained that the cat it died and they didnt even say they were sorry they just told them that it was their policy not to take payments they were cold, unsympathetic,and heartless.this cat was my mothers cat which she got when she was diagnosed with terminal COPD when my mother died the cat became a constant companion for my father in helping him deal with my mothers death the cat died on the third anniversary of my mothers death my father was totally heartbroken we would not recommend this place to anybody.

I went here for an emergency regarding my dog because I did not know of any other places close by and they were conviently right on the main road in Longview. Ive passed by it many times so when the time came when I needed a vet while staying with my parents ( I live out of town) I automatically thought of Animal Health Services. I was very unimpressed with the "no payment options" unless you either had a few hunderd dollars down or took a "doggy credit card" out based off your credit. They gave us false hope and ended up billing us for $2 shy of what we were approved for. Our dog ended up passing away after doing everything they they told us to do two grueling days later. They do not have any heart for the field that they are in. Bottom line: If you dont have any $$ right away to pay them, theres no worth trying to see them. Theyll let your pet die right in front of them without even batting an eye. :(

I will post another review after my sweetie is seen tomorrow. Reception has been pretty rude both times Ive spoke with her on phone but I need my baby seen asap and this is the soonest appointment in town. The other reviews I have read are pretty good so as long as the treat my baby well than I can overlook reception. I will re-review after initial appointment. If all goes well then I will have a new family vet for all the fur-babies, and really hope does go well. And I am grateful we could be seen so quickly. If this were not urgent just based on my phone conversations I would go elsewhere. I gave three stars at this juncture based on availability and my hope. My baby is more important than my ego but I dont usually patronize any business that treats me rudely. Sorry, good phone attitude crucial!

Im very disappointed with their rabies vaccine policy! Call around and do NOT let them take advantage of your hard earned money or over vaccinate your pet! I took my dog there, as he was only 30 days past due for his 3 year rabies vaccine (proof in hand). They insisted that I come back in one year for another... it should have been a 3 year vaccine that they gave me! The lady at the front desk cited that it was a state law that if the vaccine as more than 28 days late, that it then became a 1 year vaccine instead of 3 years (it was a lie, contact the WA state Veterinary Association). Keep in mind that OVER VACCINATING pets can cause an auto-immune disorder, and Animal Health Services does not care! I would not take my pet rock to that clinic... I will never go there again!

The pet care plan is great! They are usually prompt with appointment times. Unfortunately some of the staff at the front desk comes off as rude and could seem like they could care less. Pets should make you happy always! Happy attitudes create happy clients and ones that recommend to family and friends. I recommend a friend with a new furry baby and when she called to inform me that the lady on the phone was kind of rude I was a little disappointed with the customer service especially for new clients. Over all one bad apple doesnt spoil them all I hope they can work on customer service and smiles :)

I find their pricing to be reasonable, and their customer service is great. The people who work the front counter are brief and factual when speaking about the animals, and it makes it very easy to make an informed decision. They are up-front with pricing, and willing to give consult calls on behaviors and health issues. My cat seems to like his techs, and doesnt misbehave while in their care - something he doesnt manage even at home.

Animal Health Services is the place to take your pets. Their prices are reasonable, the doctors are professional and knowledgeable. I know many of my friends take their pets to Animal Health Services and always have something great to say. Whenever I have taken my own pets there, I have always felt confident in the care they received.

i have a large dog and is sometimes a little bit hard to handle. AHS has allways been as good as i could ever expect,and timely too.
