I was referred to ACBC by my regular vet. I have a 1.5 year old Rottweiler. Hes my 4th rottie so I knew something was off pretty early on but I thought patience, socializing, and training would overcome. Instead it got worse, fast. Dr. Sung is uniquely qualified to help my anxious boy. In addition to a Behaviorist, shes also an actual Vet and to that end she can prescribe the drugs she would recommend and is deeply expert in her understanding of them. My primary care vet, whom I love, defers to Dr. Sung on any prescriptions that could interact with Fluffys treatment, and Dr. Sung been great to work with in that respect as well -- dedicated and prompt. Shes also the nicest, most unassuming human I have met in a very long time. The clinic is tucked away in an easily accessible area of Kirkland, and is clean, sensible and very comfortable. The customer care from the office staff is unsurpassed. Dr. Sung herself is incredible. The charges seemed expensive at first, but then, once I started to work through the exercises, go to the rechecks, and experience the level of support, it was unquestionably a great value. I cant begin to tell you how much of their time Ive monopolized and theyre always there for me, with a smile on their faces and compassion of the highest degree. If you need a Behaviorist, I highly recommend ACBC. They are the finest compliment I can imagine to the quality Vet care that I already have.

Dr Sung has been an absolute godsend for my foster dog. He is a herding breed dog, who is highly intelligent, but also very high energy. He was sadly placed in the wrong home, and the adopter returned him a month later, frightened and snapping fearfully. The rescue needed an independent professional to evaluate him to decide if he could be rehabilitated and successfully rehomed. Dr. Sung and her team assessed the dog, and were able to explain that some of the dogs behaviors were fearful, while others were simply attention-seeking, such as barking and jumping. They provided a detailed report and training methods to use in working with the dog in my home, to help his behavior improve. Three months of follow-up support is provided with the cost of the evaluation appointment, so I was able ask questions during follow up calls and emails. At followup visits, Dr. Sung assessed his progress and I got a refresher class at each one. I felt she really understood the dog as well as I did after having him in my home. He made dramatic improvements in the time we worked together, and Im grateful for her guidance and reassurance during the entire process. We are now able to begin looking for the dogs forever home, something that was not possible for him just six months ago.
