Ok i see many bad reviews here. While i am certain many people have many reasons let me tell you about things i have seen and my experience.First off this vet has actually admitted to me that there are some tthings they do not have the know how to,and sent me to an internal medicine doctor for the issues they cannot solve, they misdiagnosed kidney failure BUT the symptoms were similar,His kidneys[my cat] were enlarged on the ultra sound that the internist[sp?] gave him,but functioning,He has either inflamitory bowel disease or a cancer, his small intestine is thickened. So really from both vets we learned to keep him hydrated, and give him fiber and hair ball medication to try to keep things flowing, because its the hair balls that block up the thickened intestine. I appreciate that they admit they do not know everything and send you to another vet,the totem lake animal hospital was where the internist was.I do not think that any of these doctors intentionally misdiagnose, they sinply are not as advanced as a specialist, they try their best.i have cried exploded on them and many things and they all are still very kind to me understanding how hard it is.They can really only work with what we know from both the doctors at their place and the other. Now i will tell you what else i have seen, there is a very elderly woman who comes in with 2 or 3 dogs and i my self have watched them give check ups and vaccines to her and tell her not to worry about the bill, because they know she loves those animals but does not have much money. So please go see them for yourself before deciding they are bad or good, and it is good to get second opinions if you doubt, the people here would encourage this as well.

I went back to the vet today I walk in and told them my dog as been in a lot of pain she will not lay on her stomach nor will she let you touch her belly, also she has taken to peeing and pooping in the house as an act of distress. So in walks the DVM and I explain all this to her and she says oh no I only use steel sutures and if you want them removed its going to cost you. Before I even got my dog spayed I asked if the stitches would be dissolvable and they said yes, it would be overnight and you wouldnt have to come in again and that everything would dissolve on their own and not to worry just give her the medicine once every 24 hours. I even brought her in a week after the fact and ask how the area was looking and if she was healing ok and they said AGAIN everything looks fine the stitches will dissolve soon. They said that anything concerning spaying was covered in the cost so that if I needed to bring her back in for anything about that it would be covered. I have the paper work to prove this! Well of course it doesnt match the paper work in their computer... I wonder why. These people don’t care about animals they care about the money not only did they do this but when they were to release her they charged me an extra $150 higher then the highest amount that they said I would have to pay. Please for the sake of your loved animal don’t take them to this vet and pass this story on to everyone you know. Please pass this story on It is called My Pets Vet Clinic also know as Vets for Less in Kirkland they are located on 85th Ave.

I was referred by a trusted friend to this clinic and after taking my dog there, I could see why. My pug is 6 and badly needed his teeth cleaned a few pulled. That can be a very expensive thing at most vets but this clinic offers a very affordable cleaning and was extremely informative. They explained everything to us and had a very good system down to make sure you were aware of the cost on everything. They look at your pet first and give you an estimate and then call you while theyre in surgery to give you the cost of what they actual found. They give you tons of options if you can not afford to pull all teeth and they work with you to make sure you get the best treatment for the money you can spend. I didnt think the place was dirty much like Ive read below. It seemed like a nice clean vet with a friendly staff. They even sent my dog home with pain meds. I have a six year old pug who had 5 teeth pulled and his teeth cleaned for around $200.00 and I think thats an awesome deal. They even give you the teeth and explain why they needed to be pulled. Ive never had any other issue with my Pug (knock on wood) so Ive never had to take him there for any other reason. All I can say is for a teeth cleaning they were great and I recommend it! :)

I have owned cocker spaniels for years (and endured all the medical problems known to cockers as well as the expen$$$$e of having my beloved dogs well cared for). Ive had my dogs treated by the most expensive vets and less expensive vets and have found that price and quality in the vet world are not synonymous. I recently obtained a new-to-me rescued cocker spaniel. After calling around and finding that this clinic was about 15-30% cheaper than vets nearby AND takes all visits on a walk-in basis (a huge plus for this busy mom on the go), I decided to take Tucker in for his first exam. We were quickly seen. The staff work like a real team. More importantly Dr. Ericson was a true gentleman and gentle man with Tucker. The doctor went over him carefully--I was particularly concerned about possible ear infection and possible trick knee or hip. After a personal exam of nearly 30 minutes, the doctor was still happy to stay and talk to me about the pros and cons of various foods for Tucker. I could not be happier with the service, price or the care that Tucker received. I have read the various reviews and all I can say is that I find them hard to believe. Looks more like a smear campaign than actual testimonials.

I went here to have my dog Tia spayed. I called and asked about the pricing and they said it was $100 for getting her spayed, which includes everything. Negatives: -Told 20 minutes for check-in, took an hour, late for work. -Was told spay included everything for $100, it was actually just the surgery. -Pain meds not included $15. -Pre-surgery blood work not included $30. -Dog was in heat, told it would be $10 extra, was actually $35 extra. -Was supposed to be sent home with neck collar, didn’t get one. -Was supposed to be sent home with toothbrush b/c we had teeth cleaned also, didn’t get one. -Wife waited 1.5 hours to get our dog checked out. -Employee smoking tobacco vapor right at front counter and blowing it into the room/customers. Coupon I had: $65 Price I was supposed to pay: $147 w/tax Actual Total Price: $220 w/tax Since I was quoted wrong and kept getting upcharge, we complained, they said there was nothing they could do. I spoke to the manager and she said she would call by Monday-Tuesday after she talks to her director. Haven’t received a call.

I have been looking for a good (and affordable) clinic to have my puppy neutered at. His normal vet is bellevue, and fantastic, but their surgery procedures can be quite expensive. With past pets, I have been used to the Humane society services/prices and they have done a fantastic job. I just could not afford the $300 neuter that my puppys normal vet was going to charge. I found My Pets Vet Clinic and have heard good and bad things about them. . . but decided to trust the people that recommened the clinic and took Toby in for his neuter. They did a fantastic job. Their prices were a lot more reasonable then his normal vet and they were great handling him. The vet tech that explained the procedure and aftercare was very VERY nice and answered any questions I had. I dropped him off at 8am and by 11:30am they called me and said everything was taken care of, and he is awake- i could come by anytime before they close and pick him up . Yay for My Pets Vet Clinic!!
