Over all, good people. Their prices seem reasonable and they dont try to gouge people of money. The 4 star is the rating for the clinic and the Veterinarians that work there in general. Dr. Wilcox would get a lessor rating. I was disappointed how the doctor (Wilcox) handled my dogs issues when communicating them to me. I brought him in as he wasnt eating and was having trouble walking. Yes, he was 16 years old. The doctor called me after an ultrasound and said she could do nothing for him as he had a liver tumor. There was no "we can give him something to help his appetite and pain and see how it goes". It was "we could do this and this but it likely wont help at all". It was all very negative and very conclusive. No hope what-so-ever was given. I was just left to make the decision to put him down. Hind site is 20/20. I kick myself and feel terrible remorse since my dog only hadnt eaten in a few days but would still eat rice. There was indication of internal bleeding but not as of late as it would have showed up in the tests. The fact is, I wasnt given enough information or guidance to make an educated decison. It wasnt until reflecting on it that I knew I had made a mistake. Not that my dog wasnt in a bad way, but it could have turned out far differently than it did. My remorse is something I live with every day. It is my fault, not Wilcoxs but she shares some blame as I would think a Veterinarian would be more professional and sensitive to these issues. I will never go to Dr Wilcox again regarding a senior dog issue but I cant fault her for her medical knowledge. She needs to learn how to handle owners emotions regarding end-of-life issues. She needs to calm down when she says she cant do anything. She could have easily changed that around to lower the emotion of the issue and said "THIS IS WHAT WE CAN DO". Nobody wants their dog to suffer, but I think I could have gotten a little more care from Dr Wilcox. With that said, I did call her later after putting down my Kyia, she was very compassionate and understanding of my remorse., I will never forgive myself for my decision and would never trust Dr. Wilcox to handle the very emotional issues of her clients when a life and death decision needs to be considered. I would not recommend her to anyone who has a senior pet, particulalry end of life issues. This was a year ago so Ive had plenty of time to reflect. This review is not based on high emotions. I have since been to the clinic several times with my new dog. I have had good service. Actually took my dog this Friday in for an ear infection. Different doctor. It was hard for me as it was the same room that Kyia was put down in. A year later and youd think Id be over the grieving.. But there is still the grieving. Its just to a lessor degree. I hope Doctor Wilcox reads this and takes it as constructive criticism. I wish her no ill will.

I have been taking my cat to Evergreen Vet Hospital for a couple of years now and have always been more than satisfied with customer service, price, and peace of mind knowing Im getting the best possible care. they are always willing to fit me in when my cat has an emergency (hes kind of a tough guy and gets in fights). My most recent experience is what prompted me to wright this review. When I noticed my kitty was not urinating and obviously in pain I called them up first thing in the morning. They said they didnt have any available appointments, but due to his symptoms to drop him off on my way to work and they would fit him in that day. He ended up needing some procedures done under anesthesia and a 4 day stay. During that 4 days Dr Cullen called me every day to give a status report and whenever I wanted to visit my cat, they let me come back and sit for as long as I wanted. When it came time to take him home and pay, the price was much less than expected and I know they gave me a huge break wherever they could. When I called them with concerns after I had taken my cat home, Dr Cullen insisted I bring him in on Sunday (when they are closed)....turned out he needed to stay there for longer. Dr Cullen was also good about answering my questions, giving me different options for care and cognizant about budget concerns....never made me feel pressured or guilty if I couldnt afford certain optional treatments. To sum it up, the clinic is FANTASTIC, I know they will always take the best care of my cats...and I have witnessed the same care toward doggies and their owners.

Meeting Dr. Cullen was a wonderful experience. I was a little frantic since the last two veterinarians Id gone to both had misdiagnosed my dogs ulcerated corneas as "seasonal allergies" and one of the previous vets also misdiagnosed her seasonal flank alopecia as being a flea problem. Id almost given up finding a good, local veterinarian near Kirkland. But my niece recommended her vet and said she was really good. The first visit at Evergreen Veterinary Hospital was better than I had hoped. Dr. Marybeth Cullen really listened to me, which I think is vital since the patient cant speak for herself. She sat on the floor with my Boxer who after recent experiences was really afraid to be at a veterinary office. Dr Cullen has a very broad knowledge of veterinary medicine and is well able to think outside the narrow scope of experience of ordinary veterinarians. She has called me on her day off and she scheduled an appointment for me at the end of what must have been a very long day just so I wouldnt have to see another veterinarian about an ongoing issue. I couldnt be more pleased than if my Boxer were suddenly health-issue free--hey, a girl can dream, right? Thanks, Dr. Cullen!

The veterinarians at Evergreen Vet Hospital are top notch. I feel as though they explain whats happening in terms non-veterinarians understand, and do their best to help set expectations properly. They are the reason I would ever put up with the front desk staff, who seem really overburdened no matter when you call or come in. I tend to err on the side of believing in people. If the clinic wasnt so busy all the time, Id think the front desk staff as rude and uncaring along with particularly ungrateful to have a good job in an economy that is still very poor. At a time when people are having a hard time coming up with the resources to care for their human kids, its hard to hear such blatant lack of kindness from the people accepting my rather large check at this vet clinic. I feel theyre expecting me to apologize for bothering them with my business and the care of my dog.

We have been going to Evergreen Vet for about 3 years with several pets. They have helped us with preventative care, serious injury and illness. They are always kind, professional and resonably priced. I have had pets all of my life and seen vets all over the United States. You cannot beat their services and the prices are excellent. I want to especially thank Dr Wilcox who did a great job on our dogs surgery and was very willing to take the time to educate us so we could make the best decision for our pet and our family.
