It has taken me a while to calm down but to I still cant come up with words for the complete incompetence this vet has displayed. Our poor cat passed away the week before Christmas. I wonder if more couldnt have been done but thats another story. We communicated to the vet that we wanted to bury our cats body in our yard. At the time the ground was frozen from snow and consistent temps below 30 degrees. I asked if we could pick him up in a month or 2 when the ground thawed out. She said no problem. Everything seemed fine and we appreciated the gesture to hold on to the cat until we could bury him. Much to my horror when I went to pick up my cats body they handed me a box of ashes. I cant even begin to describe how upsetting this is. Not only were we unable to bury our cat properly but we were handed a box of ashes that most likely werent even his. Unless you ask specifically for a private cremation you are basically handed ashes from the bodies of animals you dont even know. This repulses me and is part of the reason we wanted to bury our cats body. I dont know what kind of level of incompetence it takes to send someones animal to be cremated when they have specifically asked to have the body back to bury. It is clear however that the doctor/owner does not have the proper practices in place to prevent such a mistake. Further the doctor stayed in the back when this all went down only to call my wife after I had left. She didnt even have the nerve to call me and apologize directly to me. I have always felt walking in there this vet is over-whelmed. Unfortunately this very bad mistake proves just that. I can not in good conscious recommend this vet for that. Nice enough lady but this is just inexcusable.

Brought my parakeet here for a second opinion. She ended up going in for minor surgery to improve her quality of life and she is now dead. A growth was found during surgery (supposedly, I cannot emphasize this enough), but we will never know what that growth was...or if it was even something detrimental down the road. There are risks for any surgery, but my bird was not dying. A few months ago, we just rescued her from a house full of cats and was in a cage for 4 years. The day before she was out playing with toys, cuddling with her new friend, and happily singing her beautiful brains out. Our little girl was dead within a couple hours of being handed over to Pine Tree Veterinary clinic and Dr. Bridget Ferguson. That is all I know and I miss her. As if this werent enough, when they handed her body to me in a box a few hours after I dropped her off, they drew a little heart on the box and wrote a name...but it wasnt her name. It was the name I tried to correct them on at least twice. Why dont you just come around the counter and punch me in the gut instead. It would hurt less. This is a red flag about how much they care here. If you just read this, you cant say you werent warned about these people.

Heres why I love Dr. Ferguson of Pine Tree: My cat Posies weight was dropping. VCA vet in Covington diagnosed her with a liver infection and put her on antibiotics. Posies condition continued to deteriorate. Finally, I took Posie to a completely new vet at a different location, hoping for someone who could help. That vet happened to be Dr. Ferguson. Dr. Ferguson was surprised VCA was unable to pull a diabetes diagnosis from VCAs own blood panel. She put my can on insulin. Turn-around has been miraculous. All thanks to Dr. Ferguson. Next, Ferguson took on the other cat in the house whod been inappropriately urinating for years. VCA vet had tried and failed a few times. Ferguson said, "Put her on low magnesium food." Within a week, peeing stopped, and remains so to this day. Great vet care is hard to find, in my long experience. Ferguson, in my book, is the real deal.

This hospital and the staff that operate it are absolutely top notch. Dr. Ferguson and her assistant Chelsey were extremely compassionate and professional when we had to have our dog put down. Their caring and honest attitudes went above all expectations and the sympathy they showed for our difficult time was very much appreciated. They went so far as to give my wife and I each a hug after the procedure and followed up with a hand written card expressing not only their condolences, but that of the entire staff. Any company looking for an example of great customer service should look no further than Pine Tree Veterinary Hospital as they are unequaled in this field!

We had a great experience with the entire team at Pine Tree Veterinary hospital. We aquired a wild hawk with an abscessed foot over the holidays - sent an email requesting an appointment over the weekend and were lucky enough to slide into the open slot on Monday. Dr Ferguson was prompt to the appointment and we believe expertly handled the wild raptor during the exam, sedation and quick surgery to remove the kerneled abscess and suture the wound. We believe the office visit fees were fair and reasonable and highly recommend this Veterinary Hospital for raptor care.

We just took our 3 hens and rooster to see Dr. Bridget Ferguson at Pine Tree Vet Hospital. What a great experience! The whole staff was wonderful. Dr Ferguson and both assistanst handled the chickens with kindness and love. They educated us on ways to monitor their health, taught me how to medicate the one chicken with an injury. I felt welcome, not rushed, and the chickens were as relaxed as I imagine a chicken could be at the vet. :-) The office staff were fantastic and friendly. I couldnt be happier. Thanks!

These guys were amazing with my sugar gliders! Very knowledgeable and helpful. Even though they had a full schedule and staff emergencies leaving them short staffed they got me in for an emergency same day visit when one of my gliders was sick with a respiratory infection. They are officially my go to vet for my suggies! As an added bonus they have great prices on exams and care, I was so surprised that my emergency visit didnt cost over 100!

I have a cockatiel named Money and this was our vet of choice. We got the recommendation from it boarder (Incas Secret). Theyve always been GREAT with her. Weve gome for annual visits, blood panels, wing and talon clippings, etc. Theyve always done a great job. Our latest visit was our final one. We were getting Monkey checked out to fly due to a recent move. Well miss you Pine Tree Veterinary Hospital *sniff*

We had a VERY sick pug, born with Hydrocephalus. We chose to keep him around for the 6 months he was expected to live. With Pine Trees help and others he made it to a year. They were very helpful, always friendly, and helped us when it was time to say goodbye. They are our primary veterinarian for our other 2 pugs. Cant say enough good things about Pine Tree.
