The picture for my profile is my dog Amigo, but review is for my little chijuajua Tator-Tot had an emergency surgery performed at Animal Medical Center of Pleasanton, her emergency surgery was due to what they call "pyometra". Tator-tot is a tiny little 4.5 to 5 lb chijuajua, so you can understand our concern for her survival from this operation. (equivalent to hysterectomy) Dr. Baines was her vet and I must say, he made me feel at ease right away with his confidence. I was very scared but felt she was in good hands. I was right! She was indeed in very good hands. Dr. Baines did an excellent job on her and she was up eating, drinking and doing everything she should be doing right on schedule. She is great now,I am so proud of my Tator-tot, but even more happy she got the best care and treatment from this vet. The people are very kind and make you feel comfortable in knowing your pet is in good hands. Tator-tot is not just a pet, she is my family and my other dog Amigos best friend. We couldnt be happier with the treatment and care from a veterinary provider. Thank you to all at the Animal Medical Center of Pleasanton where we will continue to have our pets cared for. I had a wonderful experience at Animal Medical Center of Pleasanton. Our family dog, Harley, needed teeth cleaning and extractions. I knew that he was due for it all, but I was super scare about the anesthesia administration for the procedure. During my initial inquiry about the cost and details of the teeth cleaning, I was reassured that my dog was going to be fine because of the blood tests etc.and the very experienced doctor. I am trilled that everything went well and Harley is finely without discomfort. He has a normal breath and is happy to have dog bones daily if I let him. I highly recommend this veterinarian! The offices/clinic is super new and clean with a great feel. The location is convenient as well: next to Fresh & Easy and the newly opened CVS Pharmacy.

I was passing through Dublin when I noticed that my Yorkie started having some breathing disorder and got disorinted. Ipulled over and went online and found out that Animal Medical Center Of Pleasanton could take me in immediately. Dr. Bains was on lunch but he left everything behind and worked on my pet. After few injections and keeping him on Oxygen he got stable. They ran some X Rays and Blood Work. All looked normal. What a relief. He was sent home on some meds. I am super impressed from the staff, and the Dr. This place looks super clean. I recommend this place to all the pet owners.

I just recently visited the Animal Medical Center of Pleasanton due to my dogs constant stomach pains. As soon as i entered i was immediately greeted and helped. Their doctors and staff were very kind and made sure my dog was comfortable. They were graciously patient with my dog, as he can get a bit rowdy, and easily managed to tame him down while being courteous. The hospital itself is a very beautiful place and is very well managed. They kept a peaceful and friendly environment in their waiting area and they are now my go to spot for any of my pet related issues.

The moment I stepped in I felt positive vibes from this place. I needed a Health Certificate because my pet was flying to Virginia the following afternoon. The reception person was superbly friendly and very professional. I had never seen a pet clinic this clean and smell this good in all my life. I will bring all my dogs and my old cat to this place only. Extremely reasonable in prices and very efficient. I was out in 20 minutes. Icing on the cake when next day their manager followed up and also shared some information about my other pets.

This Vet hospital is the only place i can trust my pets will be taken care of properly when i am not with them. The staff and Doctors are very nice and always try to bond with all patients, they really make my pets feel at home. The Facility itself is very beautiful, clean, and is also in a nice area. The Doctors and staff are alway swilling to help and answers any questions. I highly recommend this vet hospital to all pet owners and future pet owners. Its always good to know a place you can turn to if you see or have a pet in trouble.

I wish I could explain the true picture of my experience at this place. Dr. Bains is so kind and knowlegable that he diagnosed the problem with my pet within five minutes and confirmed it with Blood Work and Radiographs. Rambo, my six year Yorkie is doing great on the Medicine. I made repeated visits to 3 clinics within last 18 months and was total waste of my time and money. Every inch of this Clinic is extremely clean. This place doesnt smell like a pet hospital. I strongly recommend it.

Love this place! The staff is very courteous... Very professional staff... The place is very clean... Everything is explained throughly... My pets love going here.. Normally they are afraidand anxious of the vets, but this place has made them very comfortable... Highly recommend this place...
