Took my rabbit here because of a lump on his belly. Dr. Anderson and his staff completely exceeded my expectations of a veterinary clinic. My bunny is 7 years old, and has seen many doctors but Dr. Anderson was by far the most patient and thorough doctor Ive been to. He went over ALL the options with us: biopsy, blood work, surgery, and even what would happen if we chose to do nothing. He gave my family plenty of time to decide what the best option for Mr. Magic would be, no pressure, and he made sure to spend as much time with us answering questions as we needed. Its difficult to find a vet that treats rabbits, but Dr. Anderson is very knowledgeable and has the best prices out of any vet in the area (I called around to 7 different offices.) I wont take my baby anywhere else. His staff made us feel so welcome and it was overall the best veterinary experience Ive had since becoming a rabbit mom. Thank you Calaveras Veterinary Clinic!

I have never seen a worse vet than Dr Anderson. I went to see him when my regular vet was gone and had a follow up with my regular vet two weeks later when the condition worsened. I found out that the medicine he had prescribed was a dangerous mix with the prescription she had been on for years - a medication which I noted on the new form. Thankfully nothing happened, but I was outrageoud at the vets callousness. He had not only prescribed medication that was dangerous, but more than that, he misdiagnosed the problem to begin with. My regular vet was shocked, asking again and again where I had gone to get such a diagnosis. When I called back to complain, he at first refused to talk to me and then to refund my money for the visit - saying that I was paying him for his time, which I had taken up. Despicable service.

Dr. Anderson is an absolutely fabulous vet! We started taking our dogs there about 2 years ago due to customer service issues at our previous vet. Dr. Anderson provides exceptional service and one can tell that he genuinely cares about the animals. The doctor always clearly communicates available treatment options and then takes care in providing the decided upon treatment. In additional to providing exceptional service, Dr. Anderson has the most reasonable pricing in town. When we switched vets, we found that our old vet had been charging three times as much for our chubby labs thyroid medication. We brought another dog in for an inverted eyelash surgery. The previous vet had quoted $3K, but Dr. Anderson did it all for <$700.

We have been going to Dr. Anderson with our beloved dog Lily for a year now and Ive been very happy and grateful for him. He was highly recommended by our trainer. Ive had animals my entire life so Ive seen a few bad vets in my time and I can say that Dr. Anderson is one of the best. He is very competent, super kind and present with with his clients and animals. He never rushes you out and he is a great listener. You can discuss health matters and also training and behavioral issues with him. He is very caring, authentic and honest and seems to really enjoy his work. The staff has always been very pleasant and we have received great service.

Dr. Anderson is one of the best vets I have been too. My pets are a little...ok a lot... difficult with their multiple health issues and allergies. Dr. Anderson has done a wonderful job working with my family to help keep our pets happy. The staff is also amazing always greeting my mom and I by name. We know that if we are ever having any trouble we can call up Calaveras Vet Clinic and they are there for us. Dr. Anderson really cares about the animals and he explains things in a way that is easy to understand. This is an amazing vet clinic.

Dr. Anderson cared more about my dog and his medical history than most doctors have cared about me. My poodle is a rescue with an injured leg, and Dr. Anderson took the time to go over his medical history, and how his condition changed over time. After getting x-rays done, Dr. Anderson sent them one of his radiologist friends to get a second opinion, free of charge. Could not be more impressed.
