My 10 yr old female cat, "Inara", had what I thought was an abscess near the end of her tail, perhaps from one of the other household cats grabbing her tail with their claws as she walked by - as cats often do. As it turned out, Dr. Wolf immediately determined it was a tumor. So, we are headed for surgery tomorrow morning. Oh, joy. Inara is a normally vocal cat at home. Shes an indoor-only cat and hasnt been in a carrier for at least 8 years. Shes also extremely skiddish. We were at Amador Vet for about an hour and she didnt stop screaming the whole time. Thanks to the staff - especially the front desk - for putting up with that. Everyone was very accomodating, friendly and concerned. I have great confidence in Dr. Wolf and the staff there. Ill post an update after surgery.

The front desk receptionists are nice but the doctor gives me uneasy feeling. Ive decide I would be best taking my kitty somewhere else. The doctor never looks you in the eyes when he speaks. Not only that but he kept telling me to give our diabetic cat Fancy Feast. Seriously my cat was on his death bed until I decide to change his food to Earthborn and he is so much better. When I talked to the doctor about it he just blew me off.

On our first visit the vet tech and the Dr. took a lot of time to make my Australian Shepherd comfortable and to trust them. It was really awesome! He got his vaccines and physical with no issues because he was so comfortable. Great bedside manner. I was given a lot of time to ask questions, which was great too. I already recommended this vet to my friends!

Love this place. They always remember who I am and my dogs name as we are walking in. Vets are very knowledgeable, personable and caring. They handle everything from exotic pets to dogs and cats. Its always fun to see all the different animals that come in. I highly recommend them.

Great place, feel comfortable with the service, kind people, great vets, technicians and counter help. I called for emergency care and they took by bunny right away. very good. they dont over charge and dont do unnecessary tests, i would recommend.
